Majikoi missing d3dx9_35.dll file

Good afternoon all,

 

I've recently found my old file of Majikoi, and having just heard that it has been fully translated I'd thought I'd give it another go.

Problem is I can't seem to install it without d3dx9_35.dll file.

I greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

Sounds to me like you are missing directx . Try this.

Thanks for the suggestion, just tried it and still no joy.

 

I should add that my desktop is all set up for Japanese locale.

It's definitely a Directx file.

Usually updating your directx should work.

You could try installing it again with english locale.

Sometimes (but it's rare) just restarting your PC or updating the graphic cards driver helps too.

Where did u download it? if u got the ISO file, mount the first disc and go to disc files n open the directx directory and finally run the directx setup .

It's annoying me as I've had this problem before and managed to solve it.

@Sarkasmus: I've done all that, updated my drivers, restarted my PC, trawled through windows update files.

@Monmon: I got it before Fuwa removed the links on their page. So it's a standalone file.

If reinstalling the directx does not work try downloading d3dx9_35.dll only and put in the same folder as the .exe of the game. It should work.
