Suzu Fanatic Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Been thinking of dropping some cash for this one, but I've already been burnt with almost every other indie VN to come out so far. I find most are way too short, or just written badly. I hate to namedrop it, but Katawa Shoujo really is the only =indie= VN out there to succeed so far imo. Anyway - setting aside my feelings, has anyone played this one yet? what do you like about it, and what do you dislike about it? I can't trust Steam reviews because well...have you seen how absurd some reviews are? Quote
Satsuki Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Super repetitive. Finding out where the heroine is is just a pain. I dropped it Suzu Fanatic 1 Quote
Satsuki Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Pretty much like a traditional dating sim: in lunch, after school and weekend, you choose a place to go, then you will ramdomly meet a heroine, get a short repeatable scene with her to increase her "affection", on and on... Quote
kratoscar2008 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Most dating sims arent like that though, interactiosn with heroines comes from your current stats, school events and from setting up dates. Few things about dating sims are random. Quote
atorq Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Too much dating sim, too little Visual Novel. It's incredibly repetitive and uninteresting, but maybe (probably not) they can make it better before it's fully released. The few times something does happen it's somewhat fun and good but it's not really worth the money as it is now. I expected more after playing Sunrider. Suzu Fanatic 1 Quote
