Rewrite: Harvest festa installation help

I recently ordered the Rewrite Harvest festa limited edition and installed it. But when I run it, I get the error "This game is Japan only." I've been trying to avoid illegal downloads, so I've been wondering if there's a way to patch this problem legally or if I should try to sell the game for my money back.

 

I feel like this might be in the wrong section, so I'm sorry if it is, but it wouldn't let me post in the technical faq.

Is your system locale set to Japanese?

I'm using something I installed to let me run it in japanese locale. Not completely sure what it was.

Most likely like you said it's Applocale. Not sure if Harvest Fest works with it though.

 

Edit: Try this. Just drag the exe to what you download here and see if it works. It's the AlphaRomdie one.

While locale might be a problem and I suggest you use the guide we have to switch to Japanese locale instead of using Applocale or whatever it is you're using, Key's most recent games (Rewrite and Rewrite Harvest Festa) are also locked to only work with Japanese versions of windows. Sadly, that's not something you can get around by changing your locale, you either need to purchase and install a Japanese version of windows, or find a crack for it.
