Mr Poltroon Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 We heard about the girls dorm. I would like to find out more about it. To that end, what should I do? Perhaps I would have better luck getting to know my classmates at school and asking them. Head to sleep. Quote
Kosakyun Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Would be boring to just go to sleep so I would vote for him to go on the internet and search stuff that pique his interest. And fap. And browse Fuwa. Then go to sleep, if he doesn't have a computer or if he's done already. Quote

Mr Poltroon Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I need to check the time before figuring out what to do. It's all well and good to know when classes start, but what time is it now? Quote

Kurisu-Chan Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Well, if it's not too late, let's fap fap fap go watch an anime. Quote
Kosakyun Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 (My god. For a second there, it looked like Nisekoi lol. I wonder if this'll get a conclusion?) Think about that girl. Quote
Zodai Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Plug some music into your phone and walk around until 6:30. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LaHhOPbTe8 Perhaps someone out there recognizes the song, but probably not. At 6:30, start heading to class. (Is linking an actual song going too far? xD. Apologies for the vagueness though, doing something at the moment. ) Stray Cat 1 Quote
Aniki Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 Well, if it's not too late, let's fap fap fap go watch an anime. You opened the television., showing the NHK. Unfortunately for you, no anime is being broadcast before 6:30. Too bad. His Majesty seems to have some rather specific broadcasting rules ever since they won the Pacific War. (My god. For a second there, it looked like Nisekoi lol. I wonder if this'll get a conclusion?) Think about that girl. The whole point of this visual novel is every romantic comedy placed in one setting, yet even I don't know how this will turn out. You thought about her. Honestly, you don't remember seeing her at all. It might have been just a dream. Perhaps Morpheus was just harassing you. After all, you had no friends throughout your childhood. You also didn't bother remembering her physical appearance, knowing she's probably changed by now. However, there was something very noticeable, and you doubt it would change over time. She spoke in the Kansai dialect. The Kansai dialect, specifically Osaka-ben, is hard to translate into English without being indiscernible from the Kanto dialect since the different English dialects don't vary as much as Kansai varies from Kanto. Plug some music into your phone and walk around until 6:30. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LaHhOPbTe8 Perhaps someone out there recognizes the song, but probably not. At 6:30, start heading to class. You opened your phone, hit it on loudspeaker, and just made the thing sound throughout the dorm. Immediately, several boys left their rooms in dazed and angered states. I believe you might have pissed them off. Anyway, a guy already clad in his uniform approaches you. Zodai Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 (Kansai dialect is standard Tokyo, or Osaka? I know they have different ones but I'm unsure which one Kansai is referring to. I think they translated Labrys' accent/dialect into a Texas-type in Persona 4 Arena, so maybe you could do that? Seems to fit from what I know.) --Edit: (My apologies, didn't notice the Osaka-ben clarification in the post. The above still stands but I guess the context changes a bit. "My apologies, sir. A 'flying imp-monkey' hit the speaker button on my phone in the dead of night. I thought I had chased him away before any damage had been done, but it seems he was more intelligent than I had assumed." You hope that you can get away without having to admit your mistake. Akihiro's tone is deadpan without a hint of actual guilt. After all, it was the flying imp-monkey that did it, not him. Quote

I'm planning on using various accents since we've got characters from all over the Keihanshin area. For now, Osaka stays cockney! "My apologies, sir. The man you were speaking to then looks around, and sees that everyone's gazes were locked to you. There were eyes of confusion, apathy, and animosity. He then takes you by the shoulder, and drags you to the lobby. None of the disturbed boys followed. They all went back to their rooms. New Rule! Application of a roleplay rule. 4. No one but the gamemaster may godmode (Saying that an action had succeeded without interference or making a different character perform an action, but that isn't all). Quote
Zodai Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Akihiro is dragged along without much conflict. Either he's too tired or doesn't care strongly enough to fight it. Eventually, he's in the lobby. Supposedly. Maybe he'll just go back to sleep it the man fails to keep his interest. Quote

Mr Poltroon Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Well then, off to class! Unless anyone thinks it's a good idea to, for example, go search all the rubbish bins in the place, or some other nonsensical task? Quote
