iamnoob Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Well... It's kind of a bad idea IMO. The whole point is to play the other routes especially Chinami, Kosame and Komomo's route first to understand ****'s route. And after each route you see **** more often and Mare plays an important role in each route's ending. So the other routes are meant to build affection for Mare as the finial route and suspense for ****. Simply put. You probably won't enjoy **** and Mare's route as much if you didn't play all the other routes first. Quote
Yeah Way Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Do all of them. At least one is bound to surprise you. I asked this exact question before, and I was so glad that I listened to everyone and didn't skip to Yume. That said' Yume is still Best Girl, by far. Quote

douggle Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Alright, thnx for the input. From what I gather from what you guys have said, the other routes don't really contribute to the enjoyment of Yume's route but some of them do reveal some things about the world of the story. As it stands, I'll just skip to Yume's route. I'll probably come back and complete Chinami's route if it does reveal important information on Yume and her route, even if she does annoy me. I'll probably complete Mare's route too since its apparently really short and kinda part of Yume's route anyways. I might come back to complete the first 3 heroine if I have time. I don't really pick routes base on favorite heroine, never really cared much about that stuff. Its irrelevant who I want anways, what matters is who the MC wants and he seems to be REALLY obssessed with Yume. Also, what I want is to see the story that has objectively had the most development put into it, which is usually the main heroine's route. I know not all games are as obivous as "Clannad" or "G-Senjou no Maou" so different people will have different opinions on this but the main heroine is the safest bet. The vibe I'm getting from the game right now is that Yume is the main story and the others are just side-stories to sidetrack you. Regardless, I still want to see the game's main presented story and it would feel wholly incomplete if I don't find out what has become of that cute little loli. And sorry for spoiling her name. I guess I just instinctively thought that anyone who is interested in playing this game would had done enough basic research to learn of her name so the thought of spoiler never really occured to me. iamnoob Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I don't understand people who do this, just read the whole thing. 100% agree! I find it weird people want to lessen their experience by doing this. I mean, the people who made this VN had a clear goal in mind for how they wanted the player to progress through the VN. So shouldn't we follow their intended path? Quote

There is that too, but then those people turn around and will say hey I completed insertvnhere but really they just read what they want Quote

I've seen some people say " Look I completed (VNtitle), lets talk about it. *Talking* then, Oh I only completed route A."..... That's NOT completed isn't it haha Quote

Zantax Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 A lot of people automatically assume I dont like this heroine, so i wont do her route, just because a heroine is bad it doesn't necessarily mean her route will be.This. For example I really didn't like Kana from Iroseka at first (pushy clumsy deredere), but her route was really good (and I started to like her eventually). On the other hand I really liked Isuzu from Hoshimemo from the start, but her route was a utter garbage (but I still like her ) Quote

Chuee Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I so desperately wanna read irosekai.... how long did it take you to learn jap? As long as you have a decent enough grasp of grammar and simple phrases you should be able to get through it using a text hooker and dictionary. It might take you awhile but you should be able to get through it without too much trouble. Quote
