List of Yandere Anime's

Ok i looked at my list the other day on MAL and what struck me about my name is the fact that it seems i have only watched a few yandere character animes (although this isn't a genre i am using this a the main focus of the story) So i was wondering to see if anyone could come with a list of Yandere anime's to watch. The only one i can think of at the moment is Mirai Nikki and i have seen that shows a million times. XD

School Days has a Yandere, but the anime is pretty terrible.

Shuffle has Kaede, although she's not the major focus.

A lot of anime are listed as having Yandere characters when in reality they are Yangire (Elfen Lied, Higurashi, etc.).

It's not an anime, but there is a yandere visual novel named Yandere which is pretty interesting. (and messed up in more ways than one) It involves you dying over and over to achieve a good ending... even though most if not all of the endings are bad endings. Still a good read if you're into that stuff. Yandere's are hot. :}

 

As for an anime recommendation, try Hidan no Aria.

Shuffle! was my introduction to the concept of yandere. It was terrifying. Since it seems to be on your "plan to watch" list, that's probably the way to go. I haven't yet stumbled across a yandere character anywhere else in my anime journey... thankfully...
