Nosebleed Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 So Tay is planning on adding a new darker theme to the forums, this is an excellent opportunity to get a new logo going. I know I haven't done logo contests in a while and the reason is really because I haven't found a formula I'm pleased with now that we have so many themes, but I'll probably think one up eventually. Point is, we could use a logo for this new dark theme. This is going to work a little bit differently than previous contests. Because we're pressed for time, there won't be a public vote, the best logo will be selected by the secret council of the illuminati. The theme for this will be night time, something that looks well in the dark that we can use for this new dark theme. Note: By dark we mean a dark color scheme, not something evil looking Additional rules The deadline is 5 days after this post goes up Everyone can participate this time around since this is a special occasion. Only one submission is allowed per user. You may change your logo at any time during the submission phase, just make sure to indicate which is your final version (in case you post more than once) so there's no mistakes. To submit an entry you must post the logo you made in this thread or send it to me via PM if you wish to be anonymous. Entries should be around 359px by 110px and must include the title "Fuwanovel" and the sub-title "Make Visual Novels Popular in the West", but font, styling and design are up to the artist. The logo should have a transparent background and be visible. Since you don't know what the layout looks like, if the logo is good but ends up not being visible when applied to it, we'll discuss possible ways to make it more visible (like adding a stroke or outter glow something) in case we pick it. No porn, sexual acts, genitals, female nipples, or excessive female cleavage If you wish to add (a) character(s) to the logo there is no restriction as far as whether that character comes from a VN/Anime/Manga/etc. or whether it's Male or Female. As long as you think it looks good and doesn't violate previous rules it can be submitted. Submitting a logo gives us the right to use it forever and ever however we feel like it (*evil laughter*) Hope you guys are willing to help out. And of course, have fun! Tay 1

The reason I chose my logo? I went with the theme of discovery. Discovery is something the new Fuwanovel is aiming towards with the removal of torrents and the many changes that have been made.
