iihatsunemikuii Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Hello everyone! I'm trying to play the yaoi game Kichiku Megane but when I try to launch the .exe from Visual Novel Reader's Springboard, on the side it says it can't find the game process. Like this: The game by itself itself launches runs fine, but I've tried retarting several times to restart it or launch and process it manually, yet nothing works. My other game is working fine with VNR but for some reason I can't get this specific one to. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you very much!! ^^ Quote
Eclipsed Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 My guess would be VNR didn't register the path of the .exe / files properly and so it can't find them when you try to run the VN. Quote
sanahtlig Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Delete the game profile from VNR, close VNR, launch the game, reopen VNR. See if that works. Quote
iihatsunemikuii Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Thanks so much for replying you two! Hmm, I tried to do as sanahtlig said but that still didn't work.... >< If VNR didn't register the path of the .exe, is it because the file is corrupt, or..? ^^; And would I be able to do something to fix it? I tried re-downloading the game but that didn't seem to work. Edit: I was wondering, does being a reallive.exe file instead of an actual mounted image file make a difference? I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but I'm starting to think that's the reason it's not working. Thanks again! Quote
Katchan Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Hi! Maybe you can try running Visual Novel Reader and/or the game as administrator? That works for me sometimes when a certain game can't launch, but I'm not sure if it's the same case with you. Hope it helps and hope you get things resolved soon! Quote
iihatsunemikuii Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 Oh my, that actually did the trick... I didn't think it would be that simple. Thank you so much!!! Words can't even describe how much I appreciate it! ^^ <3 Quote
