It lost money on Majo Koi Nikki, apparently.  Overproduction combined with overall bad sales. 

 

Edit:  The overall word on Majo Koi Nikki was - from what my supplier in Japan says - 'An eroge that couldn't decide whether it wanted to have a story or talk about a supernatural guy having sex with random girls'.
