zarathos_omni Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 My pc's been causing a lot of problems lately(luckily its working at this moment) so I wil be sending it over for fixing. Now the problem I have is that there is a good chance that I will lose all my data so I have made backups of all my saves and I was wondering if I will still have all my unlocked CGs after I reinstall all my VNs and copy over my save files. Or is there a seperate file or program where my CGs are located? Quote

Deep Blue Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 there are 2 types of saves in a vn, one that controls the progress and the other one is the save itself the you do, for example when you finish the vn the extra content is "enable" but you dont save to keep it that way, or if you have or haven't read the text already, I'm not 100% sure how it works tho. I kinda had a feeling about that which is why I asked. I didnt really see anything like that so I wasn't sure. Not that I would really know how a file like that would look. Quote

Nosebleed Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 All the CGs are in the game folder, all the save does is tell the game to actually show them. So yes, just copying the game save files should be completely fine. Quote
