  1. ...aaaand I really need some feedback on it. Somehow it turned into one of the most embarrassingly pretentious things I've ever made, so I can't really tell myself if it's good or not. So... what do you think? It is currently set as unlisted, so are there any changes I need to make before I upload the final version to Youtube? (Or should I simply bury it under a mountain and forget I ever made it...?)

  2. Everyone's having an art thread; I'm having an art thread! "Dude, it's like two people." Everyone's having an art thread; I'm having an art thread! I'm finally freeing up from my game dev work (kind of). It's been a long time since I did any fanart, so I drew one of my two recent favourites; Chitanda Eru and Tokisaki Kurumi (/u\)~

  3. I know Planetes has some science fiction aspects but it might fit what you are looking for.

  6. Usagi Drop Hanasaku Iroha (I'm currently watching this one and I love it, a lil of everything in it.) Sakratsou no Pet (Think that counts as SoL) Ano hana (Prepare tissues) Clannad And Clannad After story(Prepare an aresanal of tissues) Amagami SS These are the ones I can think up off the top of my head, which for me means they must've impacted me, and they did I love the SoL genre it's probably my favorite genre.

  7. Usagi Drop. If you haven't watched that yet, watch it. NOW. (I haven't seen the whole thing but what I have seen is enough to recommend it always when asked for SoL) Otherwise, Acchi Kocchi was a good SoL but its not what you're looking for, based on your first post. Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru might have what you're looking for but its not exactly slice of life.

    Good slice of life anime?

Kamisama no Inai Nichiyobi. A heartwarming tale of a blonde girl who travels the world with her father, Hampnie Hambart.

  10. I think when people refer to "mature" slice of life to you they probably mean "not something that has to do with a high-school and/or a club and all the usual comedy elements". Since, for example, Honey&Clover is in a college, not a high-school. Stuff like Aria, or Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. Or the recent Gin no Saji. But tbh while not maybe being as "mature", stuff like Lucky Star or Yuru Yuri is really good SoL.

  11. Toradora's a pretty good one, Cromartie High's not by any means mature but it's worth watching, and kimi no todoke is a good one as well.

  14. Thank you for the support everyone m(_ _)m! Yeah, it'll take time for sure but I'll do my best . And now, my "2D girls in Hong Kong" adventures continues as Maki and Riko take a school trip to the World Trade Center of Causeway Bay B)! Love Lab is "just" a comedy show but it's my favorite anime this season. It's so relaxing to watch and I love the two main heroines. Their personalities go so well together!

  15. Oh my (/u\)~ I wanted to experiment with putting 2D art over a real life photo this time (may come to use in a future project). Here's Kurumi waiting in Time Square, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong B)/>:
