I think what he means is the first impression, before the story really gets going and you find out the truth. At least, that's how I see it.

I might be exaggerating, but to be honest I think Tachi is the most human protags I've seen in a VN.

Dark Souls II xD Appart from that, FFX HD like you, and Tactics Ogre ;o Vita master console. Tales of Xillia on the PS3? Now that's a great Tales of game! The cutscenes are epic, too, and you'll think you have finished the game 3 or 4 times before it actually ends Zero's Scape is so good, too.

I find it amazing how you can complain about any protagonist after getting through Cross Channel. On a more serious note though, don't take the MC for how he acts at first. In a lot of cases there's much more to the MC than first meets the eye.

I can see where you're coming from, but I still love him. Most people find his behaviour funny. I can only assume you don't. Even then, he's certainly not "stupid". If you don't care for the story to much, open the spoiler for more.

Besides that minor nitpick, I didn't feel that Kotarou was particularly stupid, he was just being silly a lot of the time. He's pretty smart when he needs to be.

This is what I don't get... there's a skip option that stops whenever something you haven't read before appears, so what's the problem with starting the game once again?

When a story depicts reality so perfectly, people tend to get mad at it because usually the 2D world is for escapism not realism. Though despite that I do still think School Days wasn't really good, I thought the characters were crap and the story wasn't interesting in the slighest since it's literally just about a boy letting his penis wreak havoc until he gets what he deserves. Sorry but I find this pointless. You can say it's about the human psyche and whatnot and how he's a stereotypical depiction of males in real life and why cheating is horrible but that doesn't take away the fact it's still incredibly uninteresting for a vn in my opinion. And we all already know these things that's why people don't actually have harems in real life (at least not in most countries, but let's not go there).

Ah fire emblem, I think that I give myself an unnecessary Masochistic relationship with fire emblem series even when playing on the hardest settings I feel that If I let anyone die I have failed and so I begin my marathon of rage-quits and retries. I just can't bring myself to do an Iron man run through of the game I end up caring about the characters too much.

Started Murasama.The presentation, sfx, and graphics are very well endowed and feel seamless. The robots which are cg I'm still undecided upon though. The prologue difficulty is ridiculous, but after that it's bearable. I think I have a soft spot for the pre-post war modern japan (e.g. time setting of kara no shoujo)

I prefer cream pies if you catch my drift.
