Confession: I got picked to join one of the two teams of three to go to the regional programming contest!

Hello! First of all, this is my second post (but is like the first one) so I want to say: hey everyone. This web is like a VN paradise, I love it haha I've been working on a Cyberpunk VN for a month, mostly on the script but I have some art already and I wanted to show it to you. Hope you like it. I have a lot more but of couse I can't post it. So, thats the art but I want to talk a bit about the story and all of that, just because this is my first VN and I'm excited about it. As is said on the title the game will have a Cyberpunk/Sci-fi thematic with some soft philosophy on it and a lot of robots. All the protagonists are girls (with a bit of Yuri even if this is not an eroge~) Right now I'm thinking about using TyranoBuilder as engine, because I don't know anything about scripting, I'm not sure if is the best option though. I'm a bit worried about the music and the translation because: even if I have experience drawing and writing, this is my first time composing music so I will upload a couple of tracks in the future and you can tell me if they are any good. And since I'm spanish, I need to translate the script but my english is nowhere near perfect, so I may need help to correct the mistakes I will make translating the script. So I'm off on the road and will be with my coworkers for the next 24 hours ish And so I'm binging Re;zero And for the first time in my life I got called a weeb And then they started spamming random Japanese words for the next 5 minutes (which, btw, annyeonghaseyo is Korean...)

Speaking of strange Sims stories, one of my sims just got up in the middle of the night, all his needs fulfilled, and expired right there. Granted he was an Elder, but what kind of damnable luck do you need to die of old age 2 days after becoming an elder? He was my income earner! The old woman he's married to has a miserable pension of 100. Good God what am I to do now? How do I take care of the two children? I've barely got a 1000 as is. RIP And it's situations like this one, glitches, relationships, silly things, that make the sims as a game stick. I'll go mourn with the rest of the family, now. We'll probably have to sell our TV, now.

Well, depending on the Debonosu game in question, there may be several times more content in the H-scenes than in the rest of the game. Looking at you, Kagura series.

Welp, I uhh, rolled her. Immediately after maxing Angra Mainyu. But more importantly, it was done after getting two Super Successes in a row while leveling up. I really do think that getting something like that to show your RNG is high actually does mean something. This happened back in the summer event too. I'd rolled both Angra Mainyu and Tama Lancer after getting some Super Successes. So if anyone else wants to try it, you have my word to back it up.

to me it´s been definitively worth reading the jp version, despite all the clumsy prose and partly childlike wording. think it´s almost the same as in hapymaher´s case, where an english localisation of its may improve the overall experience, if skillfully done. overall saying myth´s plot has a somewhat unique and creative touch to it, without falling prey to common tropes and such + also consists of quite the likeable cast/intriguing setting. cant see mangagamer setting up an unreasonable high pricing there, so i´d say go for it upon release, and be it only for them to hopefully start working on other more recent titles of theirs, such as w-standart wonderland, which has been a pretty enjoyable read as well (the authors did improve in terms of writing)

Confession: I rekt everyone back to the stone age and got first place in the programming contest today

True endings are normally a thing for plot-focused games, but they're very present in pure romance stories, too. Most of the time, a company won't go out of their way to say "this is the true ending." You just sorta know by which of them is the most complete, reveals the final mysteries of the setting, etc. True endings can be good. They can also be bad. And also bittersweet. That doesn't really affect anything. Sometimes you have true endings being less happy than good endings, sometimes not. It's a story and none of it actually happened, so I think it's pointless to think of the other routes as useless and whatnot. They're there for your entertainment. Same as the true one. It's only actually relevant if they're going to make a sequel. A lot of VNs obviously have a main heroine, where most of the polish went, as well as having the deepest, most relevant routes for the plot. Those are the ones that normally have true endings.

Are you people seriously having a discussion about how bad is Majikoi? The best translated comedy visual novel that actually is fun and sexy? That breakes most of the tropes? With one of the most professional VA out there? With smart and capable MC, likable characters and engaging writing? Sure, it has some flaws but nothing is perfect in this world. And blame top eroge for being... eroge is just unbelievable. Sometimes, I don't understand what people actually expect from japanese adult humour.
