  1. Hey, I read about that before. The world health organization has a page on it. According to that, it's pretty hard for the virus to pass from person to person, and we can't get it from eating chicken or eggs either, thankfully. It's an unfortunate fact that news reporters usually want their articles to be seen, and end up exaggerating their stories pretty often to cause fear or rage or any number of emotions that makes ideas stick in people's minds and makes them want to share them. There's a lot of fearmongering and very little truth to be found in a lot of articles because of that. It also often ends up helping radicalize people into extremist ideologies, which is always pretty rough. It's still important to know about and really shitty since it does cause hundreds of chinese people to get sick once every year. Then again, people who do get sick seem to be those that have a lot of contact with birds in marketplaces with poor hygiene conditions and lots of live birds. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you're in a position like that.

  2. Recently I looked at Mangagamer's store and found that the limited edition of Princess Evangile only had 35 copies left. While it also is available at other stores like Jlist I would assume that there aren't that many copies left. Because of this I wanted to share some pictures of the physical edition in case there are anyone who is on the fence about buying the physical copy or if there are anyone who might have not known about it having a physical release who is interested in the VN. This also comes with a steam key so that anyone who buys it also gets the steam edition as well as the 18+ editon which is on disc. This is the slipcase This is the front of the game case Here is the game disc itself Here is the back of the game case Here is the front of the original sound track Here is the disc of the original sound track Here is a small sample of what is inside the artbook that is included with the limited edition I would also end this by saying that I am really loving this VN so far, I have not yet completed all of it but I am pretty close to the Rise ending. I would recommend the VN itself to anyone who would like to play through a lighthearted VN with a little bit of drama to spice things up.

  3. @Decay is your man and the person who controls the fuwareviews team (if I'm not mistaken.) When you're part of the team you get to login somewhere else in a nice interface that lets you write your review (and that I always fuck up the html of.) It's its own thing with its own formating and rules outside of the forums, though. Guest reviews are also a thing, so don't need to necessarily be part of it I think. EDIT: There's no harm in posting this type of doubt on the forums, but for anyone else with "where the hell do I learn things?!?!" questions, I should be able to answer just about any of them through a pm.

  4. So, I recently finished reading Dead End Junction, a short doujin VN which I got as a part of some bundle not so long ago and which was laying untouched on my Steam account since then. Well, for a few moments when I just started it felt as if I found a hidden gem, but as the story progresses quite a lot of major problems became apparent, and they negate almost all good that there was in the story originally. Well, for instance, the setting in this VN is pretty unique. It is set in a fantasy-escque world based on Wild West. Josette is a tomboyish "cowgirl" who lives in a small isolated town in a desert. The story is focused on Josette and her friends traveling across the world and confronting the Dark Knight, an evil god who transfers to her world from another one and is going to bring great misfortunes with him. Well, on one hand, this VN has a lot of interesting ideas. The setting and the comic book-like presentation make it stand out. It also has a lot of other little things that could make it a great VN: the characters have likeable base personalities, the art style is fitting and reasonably good, and some ideas about war are quite interesting. In the end, on the other hand, this VN is simply not done well enough to make it all actually work. The plot is full of cliches and overall goes nowhere; the pacing is completely off; the setting, in the end, is left largely unexplored; the characters lack any depth, and their development is very unrealistic (basically, shitty fanfic level of unrealistic). The presentation would work much better if the VN had a lot more visual assets, and since it tries to mostly rely on dialogues rather than exposition, most fight scenes basically consist of a single static CG, a few dialogue lines, and... that's it. And the final problem is that this VN lack any real conclusion. The ending is pretty much a sequel bait, and, since this group never released anything new since 2012, I really doubt that the sequel will ever get released. In the end though I still liked this VN. It works pretty well if you want to relax your brain and consume something dumb and without any real value (which, I guess, is the main reason why some people read moege). I'd recommend trying this VN if you are looking for something like that, but it's pretty much the only reason why I'd recommend it. 5/10
