Wow, this is really insane news. I never expected it to get an official localization.

I'm currently using ren'py. I don't know if this is possible with this engine, but bear with me. The closest comparison to what I want to do that I can think of is the gameplay of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. In FHA, after you go through the prologue and whatnot, you have basically the option to go to different locations at different times of the day to get a piece of the story, which will then unlock different scenes that you can choose later on. Its different from "the consequences of choices", like most visual novels. I figured since my visual novel has a lot of moving parts that will require different character perspectives, something like this is more suitable than the traditional guided story path that implements choices as a gameplay mechanic primarily. I also saw something about ren'py possibly supporting other engines that it can work with, but idk if I'm misunderstanding it. If you understand what I'm talking about, it would be a great help if you could lead me in the direction in how to implement it.

how about less "time of day" and more "menu where I can click on different scenes based on location"... maybe 20% v 80% respectively

Hi all. I had a lot going on, and before I knew it, a year had gone by. I knew there would be stretches where I couldn't get much translating done, but I never meant to leave the project without updates for so long. I'm setting a short-term goal of reaching the halfway point of Maiya's route by the end of September. Some people asked about a partial patch download. A patch installer isn't on the todo list until at least one route has been translated.

I've definitely seen map movement and events tied to a time of day before in Ren'py. E.g Lucky Paradox (NSFW link btw). The scripts in that game are pretty easy to get to with Garbro if you want to try to dissect them. Implementing the system is probably just a big series of variables compared against if statements though. If day == 1 AND timeOfDay == afternoon AND characterRouteProgress == 3 THEN doSomething()

From what I heard, it is better than the anime and is a fully completed visual novel. Anime did not cover the entire story.

Here is from Nekonyan's blog late March regarding Dracu Riot. So a HD remaster seems to be what is holding it up at the moment. "Wow, this list got pretty short, huh? There IS a reason for it, however, and we can finally talk about it now! The truth is… Dracu Riot is getting a full HD Remaster and re-release in JP as well as in English! Fortunately, Yuzusoft had the original super high res assets, so we’re going to be working on getting the entire game rebuilt from the ground up with high res assets and a new UI. It will be on our Unity engine and receive a total upgrade, including the same features you see in newer Yuzusoft projects, voice bookmarking, and more! Meow is currently working on the Clover Days port, once that is complete, he will begin the work of porting and implementing the new features for Dracu Riot! Wow....Wowww!! Maybe it'll be possible to live the dream of making a stage/scene knowing the music beforehand.

I checked all your horror songs (because i make them too ), and a bit of fantasy ones. Well, they are definitely not bad, they are good, but most of them cannot really be called songs, just atmospheres. But great work
