My name is Dodo, I am a visual novel developer from Northern Ireland (British part of Ireland). I am one of the admins for the LoveVN community as well as the director for Timeless Game Group. I'm generally a writer/coder but from time to time I work on 3D models and environments. I love slice of life stories and sometimes a little bit of sci-fi. Let the wall of beautiful noise blow you away. Anyway, I recently discovered that Japan might be the country with the best shoegaze scene around (at least after its first wave). J-rock typical chord progressions and its tendency for hymnic choruses work really well with a dreamy wall of noise it seems.

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on translating a older OLE game called Oppai no Ouja 48 and I'm looking for translators that would be willing to help vndb: https://vndb.org/v3356 At the moment I translated about half of the game myself but due to time constraints my progress will get slower over the following months. The current progress looks something like this: Dialogue lines: 10196/19406 ~ 52% complete CG Files: - complete (these are the menu CG's and images where text appears) Matsuri route: - complete Miyu route: - complete Nil route: - complete (+ champions) A block: 8/8 - complete B block: 3/8 C block: 1/8 D block: 1/8 E block: 1/7 Harem ending: 0% For the main character routes and the oppai champions the game is playable, it's the optional characters and the harem ending which still require work. If there are any translators willing to help, please feel free to message me or reply to this thread. As for myself I will be slowly chipping away at this as time allows and will update the patch and thread with any updates. The second community that we can call our Partners is the community for the neatly-sized visual novel & erotic game development community LoveVN. While they seem like a small community with just 300 members at this point, we still promise a lot of cooperation between our place and theirs. They just have a Discord and a Twitter, but that Discord server is chock full of in-progress developers. Previous a guy named @ds-sanshas managed it, but they eventually left and now the place is in need of rejuvenation. We hope that our collaborative ideas will help to further both Fuwanovel's and LoveVN's activity and prosperity! So two years back prior to the whole pandemic thingy that's going on, the website Itch.io initiated a fundraising effort for Racial Justice and Equality. It was over a thousand games, TTRPGs, various content found on Itch, for 5 dollars minimum to raise funds for Black Lives Matter. It raised over eight million dollars. Then it was Palestinian Aid that got a bundle. That one raised 900k. Then it just kept happening. More bundles! All of the "major" bundles so far have been chronicled on a site called Random Bundle Game which can be found here . It lets you sort through genres, tags, you name it, because the bundles themselves do not. They are horribly formatted! There's a guide on how to link the bundle itself so you can just download it form there. ANYWAY. I'm here because of visual novels. With all that backstory said and done with, has anyone actually tackled the visual novels found in there? I've played Serre, two acts of Brassica A Marry Tale, and a chapter of LongStory. though otherwise I haven't quite finished anything else. I know I have my eye on playing Changeling, Errant Kingdom, and Highway Blossoms!
