  1. A fandisc for the otome game Even if Tempest was just announced in B's LOG (a magazine for joseimuke content). Even if Tempest was just released this year in June and both Japanese and English text were available from day one. It's the first Switch otome game from the company Voltage that isn't a mobile game port. It was written by Ushio Ayane the scenario writer of Norn9 and Juuzaengi. She has been posting a lot about the game and the characters on her social media accounts as well. Description: I'm very happy about this! I took the risk and brought it Day 1 and besides some weird crashes I really loved the game! It feels really unique since it tried to implement Ace Attorney and Werewolf-like gameplay. It is also inspired by the current "otome isekai/villianess" trend, but it sidestepped most of the tropes I dislike from that. It was also surprisingly gory/cruel at times. I guess this means it sold REALLY well if they are announcing a FD after just 4 months lol Looking forward to seeing Tyril and Anastasia again!

  2. Oh, this is a pleasant surprise. I quite enjoyed Even if Tempest so I'm definitely up for a fandisc. It does make me wonder what they can even do for this game outside of the standard set of after stories?

    紫影のソナーニル ~What a beautiful memories~ I put this on pause for a while as I read through some other games, and now I finally got back to it. This game is inspired by Nietzsche. They hammer this stanza every chapter: すべて そう、すべて あらゆるものは意味が持たない Everything Yes, everything All things hold no meaning Memories hold no meaning, they are nothing but fragments of the past. Something that will eventually be forgotten. While Lily holds the opposite view: memories have meaning. They are the proof of people's lives and existence. As long as you remembers them, people can still live inside you. Your world is made up of your own memories. What a beautiful memories. It's good, but it has too much otome wish fulfillment dragging it down. Plus, steampunk genre is not really my taste. I can only read so much 「わたしの、背の高い、足の長いあなた」 - "My tall darling with long legs" before getting annoyed, lol. It's a good game, but I'm obviously not the target audience.

  4. Our next monthly update brings with it an extended and slightly edited script for the Reversal ending that was released last time, complete with a beautiful CG to close it out. And with that I'm finally happy to call it done with Reversal for now. There's another path to come, which I think folks will be excited for, but I'm eager to shift my focus elsewhere as there's still so much else to do. Soooo, so much else ^^; Things like Hiroko's Gullible (formerly Trickster) storyline, which is another script I abandoned halfway due to a lack of inspiration. I've picked it up again and made some good progress with it here, with some more script written and a solid outline made up for a good chunk of the remaining scenes. If you want check out the new writing and you've forgotten how to get on this path (understandable), start Hiroko's route then select "convince her she's ticklish", followed by "Don't help her" and then "Take advantage of the situation".
