Higurashi seems pretty violent at 'the beginning', but the more you watch it, the more you understand the plot. I think that if you watched Kai, you wouldn't hate Higurashi that much, mate.

MapleStory People who played this game before it started to be another 'omg, did you see that 435947359805873405 hit?' MMORPG probably know why. This one is probably the worst anime I have ever watched. It had a huge potential, but... got scr... messed up. Sonic X I didn't have high hopes about this title either, but I got disappointed more than I suspected.

Well, a visual novel is a kind of (an interactive) book. The only difference is that while reading a book, you 'create' its world using 'eyes' of imagination and you usually are a spectator, onlooker; you don't take a part in the whole story, you can't change it and so. In a visual novel (mostly, not always) you play the role of the main character, you can modify (by various actions) the story and all the visual stuff is premade. And that hopefully will probably never happen, because there's already a genre of 'fap novels' called nukige made for people like you . *** Answering the question asked in the title of this topic: Nope, I don't think that h-scenes are necessary in visual novels. I don't give a ... I just don't care whether they are or not, because I don't read them to fap. There are a few examples of excellent all-age visual novels e.g. Clannad or Ever17.

Welcome to Fuwa, Fujimoto . Let me ask you about something, are you from Germany? There is no 'perfect way' to learn a language, mate. Learning a foreign language will never be easy. Especially language like Japanese (you need to get used to new characters which are different from latin alphabet). You just have to "live" the language and the rest will come itself. Learn kanji, master hiragana/katakana, think Japanese, watch anime/read manga, try to find some Japanese friends online, talk with them, play japanese games... There are a lot more ways to learn the language, you just need to discover them. Don't give up.

Welcome to Fuwa . So many people who apologize for their English. Don' worry. Visual novels help alot with the language. School teaching systems suck (at least the language ones). I learned more English thanks to video games than an other language which I'm learning for years at school.
