so since I'm playing it ill ask here, i noticed on the walkthrough that the different route choices end on different chapters, does that mean that some routes are shorter, should i do them first or should i just do the one i want first? i was careful not to look at what the actual choices ahead are but i did notice this one thing

nekopara isn't bad... if all you want are hentai, bad vn level hentai but hentai non the less

SO... most of the stuff I've played/tried was pretty dam depressing <katawa,grisaia> and I feel i need to change the pace a bit, I started Little Busters and that's funny in it's own right but I have a few problems with it and I'm wondering more and more if i should wait for EX. In the mean time I would like to play something a bit different. To put it simply I want a commedy VN with H scenes and art style on a more modern note <less clannad, more grisaia>, also minor thing but i would like it to be set in a school environment I dislike the "old looking" art style just because it's not my cup of tea, that is one of the reasons I'm having troubles playing Fate I saw this https://vndb.org/v44 and it caught my eye a bit Also any1 got any thoughts to share on toradorra portable? I watched and loved the anime and i am wondering if i should pick up the game

if you wanna play a vn that has real gameplay elements then sengoku rance is the way to go, come to think of it, they kinda match in terms of perversion and of the wall craziness but i only played like 1h of that game also i started playing little busters and that has some gameplay elements <tho i feel the absence of my loli h-scenes since there's no EX translation> also... agarest generation of war, but i have problems calling that game a VN at that point it's as much a visual novel as it is a srpg, even so i still recomend it <happy waifu hunting>

look the game is mostly a comedy, take Amane's route for instance there is a very depressing part there but it lasts like 3 hours and the entire route is like 4 times that long also some tense shit near the end but i probably should not talk about poop and Amane at the same time, most of the time you spend in grisaia you spend it in H scenes or in really funny comedy scenes and the good endings i saw til now are really heartwarming but when the game needs to ground you back in reality it does so with a sledgehammer to the heat

I've played this game and gotten in the pants of pretty much every girl didn't 100% but pretty much did all the big things there were to be done SO let me say this, the game is actually pretty fun IF you do not take it seriously. The gameplay is surprisingly addictive and it gets progressively harder the more you go forward, the girls are off the walls bonkers, complete stereotypes and kinda funny, you have the mega bitch, the old school gamer girl, the lazy as fuck teacher, the ex porn star etc and they are all kinda entertaining and some of them kinda likable <case and point Aiko> If you go into this expecting a rich story with emotional moments and a lot of the usual VN stuff you're gonna be really disappointed but if you go in with an open mindset and are ready to try something different it could be a fun experience It is at the very least a change of pace This is my 2 cents on the matter, personal opinion aside I believe it to be at least worthy of a look also you get to bang humans, fairies, aliens, and cat girls so you can't complain about variety right

the idea itself bothers me, and i strongly prefer it to have voice acting, but when I played katawa, which was my first vn I completely forgot about it, it's nice to have a reference point and have a general notion of the characters voice but when i play a vn with voice acting i don't usually listen til the end of the sentence anyways i just skip to the next, but maybe that's because i lack the creativity to imagine an appropriate voice for a character, or i don't like to assume how a character would sound and in stead just have the game do that for me also i don't speak Japanese so that's a thing to consider to
