Its a shame though, that I cant join IRC as for now, I bet Im missing tons of stuff that constantly happens in there, my first experience in there was fantastic to say the least, the moment I joined, Nanaya jumped on me telling my name would be kaa-kyun from now on, out of nowhere! I was surprised, confused and quite...happy...everyone was so friendly...eventually more people showed up and we just wouldnt stop talking...I miss that alot....I feel im isolating myself from the community by not being able to go on IRC...but i cant let that bring me down, right? ill fix it... eventually... then its goodbye social life hehe...

Thanks to everyone who contribuited on making this a little safe heaven for VN fans.

I just had it a few seconds ago. I was so concentrated playing eroge until my aunt entered my room and said: "Come downstairs and do the ritual to remove the Evil Eye of you."

We just had a protest in my town yesterday, since Im with the army the Sub-Lieutenant advised me not to join, though as long as its peaceful we got no problem with it, even the police was going along with it, they were doing their jobs quite nicely, they were only there to make sure no one would get hurt, everyone praised their work, It was a sight indeed.

This may be a small town, but it did its part, and it was great to know that even here people are reacting to all the corruption and political nonsense that has been plaguing Brazil for far too long.

In dull times like these, where people only bend down to their government, seeing this first hand...watching this revolution grow...Its...utterly amazing.

Edit: Im ashamed to say that a small minority, tottaly unrelated to the movement, is vandalizing the streets, stealing and breaking all they find, to those people, I hold no respect, they are a blight to our country, just like those politicians filling their pockets with our money.

Im grateful for all the pre-patched/pre-installed VNs Fuwanovel has since I only know how to turn on my computer, but if there is no other choice, then of course Im gonna go trough the trouble of messing with the ISO thingy, you cant be picky in this world, it happened with Muv-Luv Alternative, wich wasnt that great of a install since Im not comfortable messing with stuff i have little to no knowledge about, but with just alil help from the community and google I got it working, yet, avoiding all that is still the best way to go for me.

I downloaded Hoshizero no Memoria from fuwan and works just fine for me, so its not the torrents fault, maybe some files are corrupted? If you did everything Steve-sama said and it still didnt work then all thats left is redownloading it.

i personally struggled through Extra and greatly enjoyed Unlimited and Alternative

Alternative was actually the hardest to finish, its quite long

I felt exactly like you at first, I couldnt stand Muv-Luv Extra, the grapgics, characters, everything seemed to turn me away from the game...till Meiya showed up and I started to get familiar with everyone...but even then I still dont like the majority of the cast...only Sumika and Meiya caught my eye, the history is pretty good, thats wh you gotta force yourself to stand Extra just enough to complete their roots, and by the end of it you will realise it was tottaly worth it.

Unlimited surprised me, but just one character, I repeat, ONE character almost ruined the whole thing for me, but I still loved the game, the rest of the crew tottaly made up for it aswell as the story, shame it felt so linear...

Alternative, here is where Muv-Luv show its true powar! I have yet to play it since Im trying to focus on Hoshizora no Memoria for the time being, but i watched the first few chapters on youtube and man, they were awesome! Playing the first two is must though, and quite francly, I enjoyed doing so.

Depends on people. It didn't bother me that much, but some people get really bored by the amount of text.

If you get through the first route you're fine, the two others are better. Although the last one still has a bit of tiresome text at the beginning. But the end makes up for it a thousand times.

Hmm...I wonder what Ill think of it...problem is that I got few time to spare for VNs right now, so playing a huge one who contains loads of text seems like a bad idea.

FNS..is it really that good in terms of history? what drags people into playing it?

Finally started playing Katawa Shoujo. I ended up in Hanako's route first as I supposed I would, it was pretty good but probably lacked of something. Now onto Rin's route. Probably doing Rin->Emi->Shizune->Lilly.
