  1. I suggest Edelweiss. Its a good mix of humor, drama, and romance. It has a fantasy aspect to it that also blends in with the story well. Its a great VN and one of the funniest I've read that also included good romance and drama(IMO). there are 2 versions of the novel though. I suggest you find the updated one because it has lip syncing(when characters speak) and some other stuff.
  2. Welcome to the forum. I'm new as well.
  3. Was good. I'll do the sakura route later. I loved Mei's route the most.
  4. Okay, and feel free to pm me it then
  5. Steins;Gate may actually surprise you. Fate stay is good as well. Although both MCs from Steins;Gate and fate can seem kinda shallow-minded(hard headed, delusional) at times. All explained though.
  6. At first it wasn't really much. I was enjoying the prologue but the incident where he saves Rise is where things(MC wise) got kinda bitter with me. I know the "hero saves girl from bad guys" thing is a big cliche used in a lot of VNs but this particular situation rubbed me the wrong way because of how it was handled. In the scene he ran away with Rise without actually trying to figure out the situation. (I facepalmed probably because I have read too many VNs where a MC is very perceptive character). Also did not like the " I dont care about the lottery ticket anymore because I was able to save her". You lost 100 million yen and you dont care really? I think this VN is one I'll revisit later today but I feel like I have to brace myself. BTW what would you all say are some of your favorite VNs of all time?(PM me)
  7. Don't really think Yuuji was a dick (in the beginning of GNK). I actually thought he was being considerate to the girls situations. Not gonna say any spoilers but he does get involved with various of the girls personal life and issues even before you reach a heroine specific route. For a suggestion try Steins;Gate the protagonist is...funny and "interesting".
  8. I didn't even make it to the point where he gets invited to the school. MC doesn't really suit my tastes
  9. DYLHB is cute? It seems rather adult from the box art, and I've almost immediately gotten a rather awkward blowjob at the new workplace. Do I need spoilers for this line? That's what I meant. Its ridiculous with all those situations. Maybe not cute comedic is a better word
  10. Much pizza wow. Delivery please?

    Heyyo!

Thank you. Satsuki I can't really tell but if you pulled my arm(not a masochist) I'd rank my favorites like this. 1. Edelweiss - Not known by many but this is my favorite just because it was able to blend great comedy, great relatable characters, fantasy, and tragedy. I've read tons of VNs at this point but in terms of comedy and relatable characters nothing has surpassed it IMO. Some of the routes made me cry like a baby. As well and the novel wasn't dragged out which was nice. 2. Muv Luv(extra, unlimited, and alternative) - I literally wasted my whole winter break reading this. Extra was simple and mediocre, but the progression from it to the other to made it really enjoyable for me. All of the tension and build up made everything worthwhile. The main character was the only one I could relate to but the author definitely made me feel something for (most) of the other characters. While reading it you couldn't help but grin or cry. Definitely one you try to forgot and go back to it just to (try) to have the same experience again. 3. katawa shoujo - in terms of crying most of my tears came from this. I loved the slice of life in this and definitely felt something for the heroines. While first reading this I had "chest pains" with all of the crippled characters and the MCs heart attacks which was a very new experience for me. As I pushed through I began to lighten up and enjoy the comedy and as I progressed through the route I felt a connection with the heroine. Definitely a good VN IMO. As for the chest pains thing its a kind of nervousness I feel when I'm umcomfortable . ( I still read horror VNs though) 4. Fate Unlimited Blade Works I watched the show before the reading the vn but the VN blew me away. The progression of the characters especially the MC seemed more real in the novel. I was able to relate to the characters and I loved all the fighting scenes I've seen. The story really makes you think as well. This might be higher but I am only 90% finished with it. Don't want to drag this out. Reading episodes 1-8 of the ps3 style Umineko ATM. I still have like 8 unfinished VNs in my taskbar though.
  12. Horny Bunnies 1 isn't that bad. Its kinda old but its also pretty cute and dating Sim like. I'm not sure about the others though
  13. Thank you I didn't know I'll edit it.

    Heyyo!

    Thanks both of you
  15. Bought about 600$ worth of manga. Fairy tail, Attack On Titan, and Cage Of eden. Some of my favorite manga series. Not home but this is what I brought
  16. I just noticed this but..... Heyyo, I'm a guy from New York City who loves creating games and programming things. I've developed a couple of my own games and websites and I have also freelanced online by programming and designing websites for clients. So yeah, I know a couple of programming languages. Recently I slowed down in order to get more time reading manga and light novels, watching anime, and most of all playing visual novels . I hope to be a long time member of this community as well. That's all
  17. I was able to download 2.2 GB on mediafire in 5-6 minutes(granted I have unusually fast download speed even just using wireless) but it would have taken 40 on some other mirror site. On a torrent 2.2 GB takes a minute. Just putting everything in perspective. Most sites will slow down your downloads purposefully which is why I think finding torrents for your VN using Google is your best shot. Other than torrents, mega.co.nz is my 2nd most recommended site to download VNs from(Granted it isn't as easy to find VNs on it as searching for a torrent is). Just my two cents, nobody wants to wait forever on downloads right? Short answer: Search visual novel on Google

  19. I wanted a second season as well A visual novel of it would be nice though. Dammit, not as scary as Saya no Uta *gulp*
  20. Edelweiss is a title from overdrive that was good IMO. Stryker was comedic but serious when it needed to be. I enjoyed it.
  21. Its not that scary but some of it gets to you. Especially in the beginning.
  22. Saya no Uta. Disturbing to some but meets your criteria.
  23. Thanks I'll check it out.
  24. Heyyo everyone, I have been searching for a zombie visual novel for a while. I cant seem to find anything on zombies(come on Japan D:) in a visual novel. I have played some apocalyptic visual novels but nothing about zombies that was translated. I did find one yesterday that apparently came out in February of this year. I pressed the random VN button and found it on vndb. Its short 2-10 hours. Title: Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai I am the only one who is not attacked in the world filled with zombies. https://vndb.org/v16802 Video: https://youtu.be/qnX6Q6wexx4 Is this the first of its kind or are there more I'm unaware of ?
  25. Finishing final fantasy a realm reborn. Traded in Dragon Age and Far Cry 4
