What are the prequisites for a VN to be adapted into anime?
Rabbit replied to GLM4475's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Sales and popularity I guess... I'd say that the VN would have to be anime material, as in has to be able to be adapted but I'm not sure what that would be which is pretty much what you are asking, nukige can get adapted to hentai but not anime. And ive seen quite the different kinds of VNs being adapted so ill just go back to the start and say sales and popularity. -
Confession: I would prefer not to work a day in my life yet it depresses me to have nothing to do, ah the human mind and how contradicting it can be sometimes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not everyone expresses sadness by crying, some or many may be feeling sad yet still not cryin,(Cheesy story of when i was younger incoming.) when i was younger at my great-grandmothers funeral I could remember seeing people cry and I got confused over why I wasn't cryin yet I still felt sad, it scared me to think that people may think i'm not actually sad so I told my mother that it may not look like i'm crying, but i'm crying on the inside. Oh god that was an embarssing line, i'm glad I was so young

I do consider myself somewhat of a senstive guy, but I never really cry, but for some reason there's been a onion ninja haunting me whenever i watched: Madoka Magica Nagi no Asukara Isshuukan Friends Love Live(Didn't expect to be haunted by a onion ninja during this one) Chunnibyou Clannad: after story Toradora Naruto(Huge spoiler alert) Though most of these was just mild compared to the attacks i got on some VNs: Clannad(The Kotomi<3 route hit me the worst) Grisaia no Kajitsu Katawa Shoujo(Hanako<3) Little Busters Sharin Symphonic Rain Damn onion ninjas... But back to seriousness, I think it differs on the person, the point in their life and their mood, I watched and read some of those durin a very hard and sensetive part of my life so i felt myself relating or wishing for alot of the stuff here. I always make sure that I can be alone for a while if I think a tearjerking scene comes up. x)

Whenever I go to job interviews, really takes a hit on my nerves not only having to talk to strangers but I have to act confident and answer questions that may be slightly difficult

I hate the fact that i'm lazy and uncomfortable around other people. I also hate the fact that i'm smart enough to realize that i'm dumb

I don't really think it should matter wether or not they are male, female, trans, an alien or a animal whilst online on a anon forum like this unless you are going to meet up, even in situations as you stated where they offer a kiss as a reward, it's not like you're actually gonna get kissed. Edit: What I mean is that they should be allowed to hide their identiy if they want.

I usually flip my 2nd monitor towards the bed and lie down with the xbox controller (if the VN supports it) or use my wireless mouse, I usually keep it completly dark in my room and I never eat whilst reading cause I hate auto mode ^^

Worst routes you've ever read in a VN and why
Rabbit replied to starlessn1ght's topic in Visual Novel Talk
You're making some good points ^^ My opinion is prolly biased by the fact I just like it when love wins, it's my 2nd VN and it's been quite a long time since I read it so I don't remember too much, my VN experience was quite low. -

Rabbit replied to starlessn1ght's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Gonna add Benio from Comyu here, though it's a true end VN i really didn't like the route, even though i liked the heroine You didn't like that route/ending? It's been quite a long time since i read it but as i can remember I quite enjoyed it, i disliked the Yukine route more. -
Air, though alittle old and not the best art i did like the story and some of the routes. Little Busters, it says very long but i can't remember it being too much longer than some VNs that says 30-50 hours. You've read a few of KEY's productions like clannad, rewrite and kanon and this is one of their productions that i can recommend aswell as Air. Ayakashibito is also a good VN that isn't on the list. And I also agree with Symphonic rain, the gameplay is optional, you turn it off in settings tho you still have to listen to the music where the gameplay is supposed to be, you don't have to do anything and i quite enjoyed the music so i didn't mind.

I was looking for a safe way to download some english translated VNs, the first one was most likely clannad though i can't really remember ^^

Sharin, Cross Channel and Ayakashibito are all quite good choices. G-Senjou might be to your liking, though no harem or loli i find it to be somewhat similar to Grisaia, it's hard to like the MC in the beginning but I believe it gets better after a while. Two others are Little Busters and Rewrite. Neither of them has any of your bonus points but they are both quite good. Rewrite doesn't have any sexual content though. Little Busters has a version with sexual content that will complete within a year maybe, I can't imagine it being good though because it's KEY.

How Global is Fuwa (What country do you actually reside in?)

I'm from Norway, and damn... not a single Norwegian person has posted here So ill just say i'm from Scandinavia to make it seem like i'm one out of many! x) -
The amount I read differ on the books I read, if they are interesting or if I get into it early, I could read my all time favorite book series "Imperium" in a month, its like 7 books with 300+ pages on each book, and it's just because I enjoy it so much, there are some books that i read and never get into so i allmost never pick the book up until it's done, so I can go months with the same book, or spend a weekend on one book that i really enjoyed. My types of genres would be drama, romance and war stories from the antique era. My favorite book is as stated above Imperium, the first book, if i'd have to choose one book, I really recammend it for people who enjoy antique war stories with romance in it. My favorite autor would either be the imperium author, Sam Barone or John Green, ive read all of his books unless a new one has come out recently.

The problem that may occur for some people, like me, is that it may be hard to choose a girl and some VNs may have flags that's hard to know what does what, Otoboku which I read recently is an example on both of those, though if you save before choices you can learn which heroine the flags are for because it tells you a little while after choosing. I played without walkthrough through this game because I wanted to give it a shot, but I usually ended up on one of the heroine routes that you get if you take an equal amount of flags or something like that. I agree with you though if you enjoy playing without walkthrough and you don't encounter any difficulties than i'd suggest playing first without relying on it aswell.

Nicknames are good depending on your relationship and the nickname, for example if your friends gives you a nickname that's an insulting word or you find offensive than it might just be for fun and you have a equal insulting nickname for your friend, however if a person you only have spoken to at school/work and you don't consider eachother friends but he gives you a offensive nickname than it comes close to bullying. Me personally likes getting and giving nicknames to and fro friends because it makes you closer, or if your name is hard to pronounce it makes it easier, my international online friends for example that ive known for 3-5 years calls me Josh since my norwegian name is hard to pronounce for them, or it just sounds weird and akward in their accent.

How Can Visual Novel Players Expose Newcomers to the Genre?
Rabbit replied to OriginalRen's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Depending on the friend, if hes a anime fan or not etc, if it's a person that enjoys anime than i'd pick a anime that's maybe disliked or alot like that VN than i'd point out that all anime is not like that, maybe i'd do the same using a tv show as an example. If it's a friend new to this kind of entertainment than i'd just try my best to explain that all VN is not like that and fish up a VN that I believe he would like out of his tastes and personality and i'd tell him to give it a try if he wants to, if he doesn't want to or he still dislikes it than I'd give up because VN is not for everyone, just like reading normal books is not for everyone. -
How Can Visual Novel Players Expose Newcomers to the Genre?
Rabbit replied to OriginalRen's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I think it's dependent on the person, me myself is a hopeless romantic and I love the romantic problems(That really makes it look like i'm lyin about being a hopeless romantic xd) as long as they get back together, but I think, if you want to hit the largest amount of people than i'd say life changing events would probably be the best choice. Ah yeah, it also depends on wether or not the person gets into the characters, heroine and protagnoists alike, if they don't then emotional scenes might not be as important for them as it would for others. -
I think it's fine in 2d, I honestly think most things in 2d is fine, it's just fantasy where people should be allowed to immerse themselves in the fantasies. In 3d personally, when it comes to morals, I myself don't really care, aslong as it's consensual than it's not up to me to judge. However in 3d society, (I'm talking about scandinavia and Norway mainly now) it's illegal and thought of as immoral, morals in society however is just made out of what the people on top and the majority of people thinks, and most people like to think themselves as correct or just follow what other people think, I find that aslong as it does not cause a problem for another person, a unborn infant or the people doing incest themselves, which means consensual and taking use of means to not get someone pregnant. Me personally would never have sex with a family member even if they put themselves out, though i must admit when it comes to 2d I can find incest arousing aslong as it's not father/daughter or uncle incest where the female is quite young because it doesn't fit the image ive made myself of how a grown male figure should be, though I don't judge people that do find it arousing. I believe you should be able to have a relationship based on lust if you want to, but as humans are it may cause one part to fall in love with the other and the other person doesn't, it's like friends with benefits, it sounds like a good idea but one side can get hurt quite fast. though it may be the other way around, that both parts finds love and they end up togeather and married. My opinion may be biased though because of how pure I am and the fact that I want a soulmate and I find that cheating is, sorry if i'm rude, despicable, though nothing wrong with in 2d. I'm gonna give my answer on this question for when I think it's appropiate to have sex since I don't think it should differ wether it's a sibling on not when it comes to age. This will differ on the person, some people can make the right choice early whilst others can't, it comes down to the person and how they were raised aswell as the enviroment, but if i'd put a general age group i'd go with the legal age group for consensual sex in Norway, 16, cause this is a age where you can be old enough to not make a wrong decision (People at every age can make wrong decisions) though I believe that means of pregnant prevention should be, not enforced, but highly encouraged.
