Hanako's newest title, A Little Lily Princess, is a cute yuri adaption of the classic novel 'A Little Princess'. It's the usual good stuff and should probably be included in the list. I don't know if it counts as OELVN, but 80 Days is also something that would be of interest to visual novel fans.

Plot and nukige are mutually exclusive, but well-written nukige and sex-heavy games with good plots are both things that exist.

Supernatural heroines are great, with ghosts and goddesses as my personal favorites.

Except it's not entirely lighthearted, even at the start. There's an underlying feeling of loneliness present from the first scene. And the protagonist is a severely depressed misanthrope.

Doukyuusei, Kakyuusei and Dragon Knight were their most popular games and made a huge impact on the eroge industry. I've played Knights of Xentar, never heard of the others. I don't really think they had a huge impact on the eroge industry myself. Not as big as many other VNs over the years, which took it from simple porn to a real story. Elf's titles were very important to the development of eroge during the early 1990's, equal only to those of Alicesoft.
