Sekien No Inganock: Dissappearing CGs (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
It looks usefull, however my problem is not that I'm unable to start the game. I can play the game just fine without any problems. The problem is that the unlocked CGs don't stay unlocked after shutting down the game. The CGs become locked again when ever I continue the game. The date do seem to correspond with the unlocking time in my safe files. I restarted chapter 1 to get a few CGs, saved, checked the save date/time and they seem to be correct. -
Sekien No Inganock: Dissappearing CGs (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Could you explain it a bit more? What do you mean with "AppLocale"? At the moment I just start the game by starting the appropiate "game.exe" in the map file. -
Are you running your computer with Japan system locale? (link to instructions): No Game Name: Sekien No Inganock: Description of Problem: Unlocked CGs dissappear upon closing the game and restarting it again. Or rather, the CGs become "locked" again. Your Operating System: Windows 7 64 or 32 bit (link to how to find): 64 Bit What did you already try? (Uninstall/Reinstall, Redownload, Run as admin, etc): Nothing yet at the moment. I only tried the infamous uncheck: "Read only" button. Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Yes Additional Information: This is the first game in which CGs do not stay unlocked properly. I've also finished Clannad, Ever17, Remember11 and played a little bit of G-Senjou no Maou. In these games the unlocked CGs stayed unlocked upon closing and starting game again later. This is the only problem that I have with Sekien No Inganock, everything else in the game functions properly. Edit: I tried setting the computer to Japan System Locale - Did not solve the problem.

PPSSPP Dangan Ronpa Investigation Problem
Satoshi Mochida replied to Cursed Toilet's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Well, you could try something else. On the PPSSPP forums are still other possible options to play the game. Download the most recent edition of PPSSPP and try out the following instructions: Quote by daxtsu: "If you had looked back one or two pages in this thread, you would've seen that the game doesn't work correctly in 8.1 official. Grab a development build and enable Read Framebuffer to Memory(CPU) if you have AMD/Intel/Android graphics cards/devices, or Read Framebuffer to Memory(GPU) if you have NVidia. Be prepared for a massive speed hit though; those options are both quite VPS/Speed intensive." Quote by solarmystic: "The newer revisions on the buildbot use a different ini setting called RenderingMode under the [Graphics] heading (it has been renamed) RenderingMode uses values of 0,1,2 and 3 0 = Non Buffered Rendering 1 = Buffered Rendering 2 = Read Framebuffers to Memory (CPU) 3 = Read Framebuffers to Memory (GPU) The equivalent setting is now to set that RenderingMode to 3 for your NVIDIA card in the ppsspp.ini file. This is the same as the older FramebufferstoMem = True ini setting which is no longer used in the latest revisions." If you're using a laptop, put the laptop on high performance mode. If neither options work then I'm afraid that your PC might not be able to handle the emulator and the game :X I'm not sure how old your PC/Laptop is, but my 3 year old laptoop was able to play the game without problems. -
PPSSPP Dangan Ronpa Investigation Problem
Satoshi Mochida replied to Cursed Toilet's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Did you download the specified PPSSPP version: V.0.8.1-642-g8f84907? The instructions are specifically meant for that version. This is a little bit strange since the game shouldn't crash when the Framebuffers are changed. -
Error in Dangan Ronpa Class Trial
Satoshi Mochida replied to Dango678's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
I'm unfamiliar with this error and is actually the first time I read that there was a problem during a Class Trial :blink:/>/>/>/> , so I can't help you with this. I assume you're playing on the PC using a PSP-emulator? However, since you're still in chapter 1, I would reccomend that you start over and use the following instructions to play the game. In my opinion, this PPSSPP version has the least glitches with Dangan Ronpa and allows you the play the game with almost no problems. You might be lucky and be able to use your save file on this version of PPSSPP, which then might solve your problem. Perhaps one of the site moderators can add the above information at Dangan Ronpa's TroubleShooting section. Using the pre-packaged Psp-emulator doesn't work too well and downloading the most recent PPSSPP emulator also has some unsolvable problems. Using one of the older PPSSPP version, as mentioned above, seems to be one of the most convenient version to play Dangan Ronpa. -
Instructions to some problems with Dangan Ronpa: Investigation Problem 1) Go to http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html 2) Download PPSSPP version: v0.8.1-642-g8f84907 3) Open your PPSSPP.ini file (You might have to start up PPSSPP once first) 4) Look up the following in the PPSSPP.ini file and change: - FramebuffersToMem = "False" to "true" - FramebuffersCPUConvert = "False" to "true" - Save the changes and restart the PPSSPP - Start the game Solves: the "not being being able to investigate the environment". Problem to Chapter 6 Perhaps one of the site moderators can add the above information at Dangan Ronpa's TroubleShooting section. Using the pre-packaged Psp-emulator doesn't work too well and downloading the most recent PPSSPP emulator also has some unsolvable problems. Using one of the older PPSSPP version, as mentioned above, seems to be one of the most convenient version to play Dangan Ronpa.

Dangan Ronpa Problems with PPSSPP
Satoshi Mochida replied to Pizza-kun's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
No problem. Yeah, sometimes the tekst isn't showing properly but that can be fixed by just opening your map and closing it again. I forgot to mention this: When you're in Chapter 6, before entering the Data Processing Room you have to change something in your PPSSPP.ini file again otherwhise the emulator will crash. You have to do the following: - Open your PPSSPP.ini file - Search: HardWareTransform = True - Change HardWareTransfrom = "True" into HardwareTransfrom = "False" - Save and restart When you're done with the Data Processing Room (The game will confirm it for you), you can revert it back again or leave it like that. Although, I would reccomen reverting it because otherwhise the game might slow down when you are walking around in the Hallways. -
Dangan Ronpa Problems with PPSSPP
Satoshi Mochida replied to Pizza-kun's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Try downloading PPSSPP version: v0.8.1-642-g8f84907 and then follow the instructions to solve the investigation problem: In your PPSSPP ini. file: - Set FramebuffersToMem = "False" to "true" - Set FramebuffersCPUConvert = "False" to "true" - Save That should make the game playable. -
I'm sorry, but I don't have the save files anymore. I kinda deleted them when I finished the game :unsure:/ I would also reccomend you to check http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=940&pid=36809#pid36809 if you want to continue with your current save files. It's a entire topic dedicated to possible Dagan Ronpa related problems on the PPSSPP. Perhaps the chapter 5 problem is also discussed there, although you might have to spit through the entire topic to find your solution :X

I'm not sure what the exact problem is but you could try PPSSPP version v0.8.1-642-g8f84907. I used this version of PPSSPP and had no problems with chapter 5 at all, you can still find it on http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ Just make sure that when you are using this version that you have to do the following, otherwhise you can't examine the environment: 1) Look up FramebuffersToMem = False & FramebuffersCPUConvert = False in your ppsspp.ini file 2) Change the above mentioned things into FramebuffersToMem = True & FramebuffersCPUConvert = True and save the changes 3) Restart PPSSPP and try investigating again And in chapter 6 before entering the Data Processing Room, turn HardwareTransfrom off by changing True into false in the PPSSPP.ini file -> HardwareTransform = False , when you are finished with that room, you can make it True again.

PSP Dangan Ronpa Unpausable (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
1) Follow the steps in Kendjin's post 2) *Note about Hardware Transform I don't think it is nessecary to turn off Hardware Transform for the entire game, only for chapter 6. Turning Hardware Transform off slowed down the 3d environment sections of the game. But if you want to avoid any risks, you can disable Hardware Transform immediatly. -
Remember11 Missing Upper Half Screen (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Ok, Thanks. I think that's indeed the solution to the problem. Although, I probably won't execute it since it requires me to remove a security update. The topic can be marked as Solved. -
I downloaded Remember11 from Fuwanovel and the game seems to be fine. However, whenever a movie plays, the upper half of the screen is black while the lower half is playing the movie. I'm not quite sure why only half the screen shows the movie. Does anyone know what is causing it? It's not that huge of a problem, since I can probably look up the movies on Youtube or something but I'll just mention it since The Troubleshoot section on the downloadpage is empty (Besides the seeding advice).
-
A possible solution for the investigating problem is the following: 1) Look up FramebuffersToMem = False & FramebuffersCPUConvert = False in your ppsspp.ini file 2) Change the above mentioned things into FramebuffersToMem = True & FramebuffersCPUConvert = True and save the changes 3) Restart PPSSPP and try investigating again I had the same problem and this fixed it for me.

PSP Dangan Ronpa Unpausable (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Ok, followed the link and got v0.8.1-642-g8f84907. The game didn't work in the beginning (still had problem of not being able to examine stuff) but after spending a little bit of time on the Forums and altering some stuff, it seems to be functioning. Let's hope it stays that way Thanks for the advice -
PSP Dangan Ronpa Unpausable (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
Downloaded PPSSPP 0.8.1, got past the first problem. However, the new problem now is that I can't seem to be able to examine anything. I checked on Youtube, apparently my cursor has to change when you try to examine something but my cursor won't change. I also can't find the version you are mentioning. I only found one version with a note that this version is not compatible with Dagonronpa. -
PSP Dangan Ronpa Unpausable (SOLVED)
Satoshi Mochida replied to Satoshi Mochida's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
It's the emulator that came with the download on this site: JPCSP v0.6 -
I wanted to try out Dangan Ronpa, however the emulator (?) pauses as soon the game gives you control to examine the first class room. The emulator pauses and it is impossible to have it run again. I think it stops working because the game is trying zoom out to a 3d enviroment? I don't think that that the game got "stuck", but the emulator just pauses for some unknown reason. Moreover, I'm not sure whether it is related, but in the first movie (somebody gets punished I think) there were no sounds. Everything else seemed to function normally so far. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I'm playing the 64 bit version. I'm using the emulator that came with the download: JPCSP v0.6 Thank you.
