Time will tell.. Time will tell. But you heard it here first. I'll remember to laugh at you if i'm right, and you can laugh at me if i'm wrong. -

This wont be released. You heard it here first -
There certainly might be a stigma towards vn's. Like "ohh, another one of those pedo novels". I mean, most of these games are about dating and screwing 14-18 year olds. Younger too in a lot of cases, so i totally understand it as western translation teams and publishers seem to target this type of VN like crazy.

I really like the artstyle of this artist. Wish for example comyu made more sense than i feel it does. My head is just swimming with questions about its grandiose language too deep for my non english ass to understand.

It's not weird. I mean when i read hscenes i do sometimes wonder if it was an adult who wrote this or a horny teenager who never had sex in his life. I'm gonna go with a nice mixture of those two. But as an adult, even if you had no sex you should know the grasp of things. Which begets the question: what the hell is wrong with the japanese hscene writers? It's not just hscenes, but their approach to sexuality in general. I played Drakengard 3 a couple of months ago and ohh boy does Yoko Taro have a childish approach to sex.

There is no rule saying that someone HAS to follow someone elses ruleset of how mysteries should be. But i agree that it was badly handled.

For apocalypse surely you mean 2000? Now that was a funny time

Grisaia at least
-
It's a funny thing to me. Moeges and such.. I read them and i can binge read them too in certain cases. But if someone were to ask me if it truly was good, I'd have trouble saying yes. Like i said, funny thing. Grisaia as you mentioned is definitely grade A though. Sharin no kuni is also up there, but then i enjoy good protagonists.

Has to be little busters for me. Thats just one hell of a cast. But then i like different key vn's best for different reasons. Rewrite the mystery and also has a quite alright cast. Summer pockets however.. i dunno. It got less good the further in you went.

Can be a bit of a headache playing a whole vn with sugoi though. Certain times the translations are very, very slow and other times its nearly instantaneous.

No route got any serious drama. Ginharu translation is cancelled btw
-
I hope not. It was terrible. It's easy to recommend their other games, but Hoshiori isn't terrible and has more or less no drama. If that works or you. Haven't read ginharu yet so i cant comment on that.

What is the appeal of ecchi comedy where the MC gets brutalized?
Stormwolf replied to Ryuk211's topic in Visual Novel Talk
But thats the thing isnt it. It's often very cruel and lacks any comedic punch. It just feels like abuse for the sake of abuse. When protagonist does something stupid and gets punched for it then i get it and it can be funny in the right circumstances, but that's often the case. Sometimes he gets punched black and blue for no reason at all really and it's supposed to be soooo funny. -

Stormwolf replied to Ryuk211's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Im just assuming people who enjoy it to be the lowest of the low lifeforms on this planet. You know, the ones who loves getting their balls popped by women in high heels, or in general "yes" men in life. -

You're just speculating same as us. Just a more optimistic outlook. We'll see in time -

Probably some drama is happening in the background. I mean none of them are replying in this thread, which they did in the past. Takes like 10 seconds to reply anything at all. Maybe the leader is controlling and abusing power over having the files? Who knows. Or maybe they're just waiting for a deal with any company before selling or releasing. All speculations, but what isnt is the fact that utter silence is never a good sign. -
Did you try the fandisc?
