Max Senpai

I've recently installed Steins Gate in my laptop and it seems to work fine until when I want to save. When I'm at the save screen and hover my mouse over the slots, my cursor just goes into a spasm and keeps cycling through all the possible save slots, making it fairly difficult to save progress . Any possible fixes, or did I screw up the installation. Any help would be appreciated!
