  1. They're props - it's a drama about a crime lord's son who has to win a tennis tournament. Lethal poison, a cleaver, and in about 15 seconds, the police officer's head.
  2. False. The closest thing was being in the car when my mother happened to get a ticket. Next person believes themselves to be an expert at something.
  3. Left. I don't believe I've actually eaten pocky, so I can't say whether or not I would be able to. The next person owns something that dramatically bursts into flames.
  4. We're pulling a prank on a friend tonight. A group of naked children, 10,000 various office supplies, and a fire breathing dragon.
  5. Left. Next poster will happen to be in their underwear.
  6. False. I have never been to Japan. The following poster is or has considered a career of game development (Any type)
  7. 1. If Arnold is able to gain access to the internet, he does not require the assistance of a fellow student to do it. 2 & 3 - See 4. 4. I'll admit, I was impressed. The commissioner is not relevant to the case. 5. Between the hours of 3 and 6 PM, excluding Adam, Nanase and Adam's wife, a maximum of two entities knew the password to Adam's account. Additionally, I thought I would expand on a Red Truth placed earlier, as it was slightly misleading in an unintentional way. If RoTaRy knows the password to Adam's account prior to 4:30, then it is not a complex task.
  8. Well, it's easy to understand and makes the game run smoothly :3
  9. After the possibility of absurdly convoluted plot twists was brought up in another thread (I'm running these tests on more than one forum) I've decided to create an Advanced Tips list in order to push the game slightly more in the audience's favor. ADVANCED TIPS - These are not required for the enjoyment of the game, but provide information to swing the game in the audience's favor. Also, I'm adding it to the OP.
  10. Indeed, it is quite good~
  11. Additionally, I thought that the previous Red dealt with this one, but sense it's still here I'm going to hit it for good measure~
  12. RoTaRy was commissioned to create a physics engine made for maximum panty shots, for an Ecchi-styled 3D Brawler based in Japan. Jiggle Physics were also implemented. He's quite famous in those circles, actually.
  13. Adam is not logged into his email on that laptop. As a result, the Remember Password feature would be unusable - it requires access to the email in the first place.
  14. It's only used as a backdrop - outside of the usual length of matches (20-30 minutes) there really isn't much else that the specific game has to do with it.
  15. Ah. Well, what language do you speak then? Additionally, if it helps - the game being referred to is League of Legends. Maybe that will help get some insight.
  16. Thank you for that - while there might be a bit of difficulty when it comes to precise wording, I'm always glad to see more people be able to play ^^
  17. AsiRaci School Handbook - Page 13, Paragraph 2 - No electronic storage devices are allowed above 8MB. This includes personal computers, such as laptops. Said electonic storage devices below 8MB are also subject to infrequent checks on a random basis - this is a rule in the student handbook. This is to prevent the smuggling of indecent electronic materials into the school, while still allowing students a way to transfer work documents between home and school. This effectively means that Arnold could not bring his laptop to school, assuming he had one in the first place. Nanase did not knowingly have a role in the compromise of Adam's account.
  18. Hey, I'm not that stingy. The password on Adam's account was changed exactly on April 16th, 5:00 PM.
  19. Indeed, that is correct. I'm still looking for ways to make them more clear for future outings. Hopefully it's clear enough for now :3 Pretty much. I'm hoping to define the ruleset in a way that makes it easy to understand for those who haven't played it, too.
  20. ~~~ HACKER'S GAME On April 16th, at 5:00 PM, Adam Kesura's League account was compromised. The hacker had changed his password (As Adam used the same password for both his email and League accounts) However, they were unable to change the password of the email itself. At the time, he was at work as an electrician in California, on top of a rather nasty telephone pole, while his co-worker sat in the truck below, fiddling with his laptop over the internet. He has a daughter as well - Nanase Kesura, age eight, whom had been playing on the computer since getting home at 3:00 PM. At some point, the girl was allowed to play bot matches on her father's account, after a rather intriguing altercation during an attempt to create one of her own. She is actually quite skilled, and unless you either had prior knowledge or were using voice chat, it is impossible to tell the difference between the two. And then, we have Mark and Timothy Farken - a group of twins from Texas who both play League. They use a single account, a tradition from the days when they shared an email account, and often play pranks on their friends by getting them to guess which twin is playing right now. At 5:45 PM, the Farken group was brought into a premade match with the compromised account through a common friend. It is unknown which twin was on their account at the time. The hackers IP has proved impossible to trace, though low latency likely means they were somewhere in North America. Additionally, we have Katarina Frey, 34 years old, who lives in Vancouver, who from 4 to 5:30 PM, was in a vegetarian campaign of some sort involving McDonalds. Her family is generally anti-technology, and although it has been getting better, outside of League, she has a very limited level of computer knowledge. And then, we have the man from China. I don't know Chinese, so let's call him 'Arnold'. Arnold is one of the top students at Asiraci Academy, and generally has the respect of both teachers and peers. From 3PM to 6PM (Corresponding to 6-9AM in Chinese time)Arnold was in the school's computer lab. The computers at Arnold's school run on a closed inner network, and therefore cannot connect to the internet as a whole. Lastly, we have RoTaRy, the genius programmer from Australia. Addicted to Mountain Dew, often staying up into the depths of the night to finish some new shiny code. Having finished a commission of a physics system designed for the maximum number of panty shots (The commissioner's identity is not relevant to the case) around 9:30 AM (4:30 PM at the victim's time) He would have been too tired to do anything involving complex programming. ~~~ The object of the game is to identify the culprit(s), and how they did it. Anything in red is known as Red Truth. It is an absolute, and cannot be denied. Only the Game Master can use it. Anything in blue is classified as Blue Truth. Blue Truth is used to propose a solution that still fits within the confines of the Red Truth. The Game Master must put forth a Red Truth that defeats a Blue Truth within 24 hours of its posting, or he is defeated. Anybody can put forth Blue Truth, with the exception of the Game Master. (The bold font is optional for both types) The Game Master retains the right to change the truth, so long as it does not contradict any Red Truths put forth by him prior. When the clock strikes midnight on the final day (Friday, the 18th) No more blue truths can be made. The Game Master must provide a solution 12 hours from then, that does not contradict any of the Red Truths. If he cannot, he is defeated. No more than nine people are related to this crime. Now then. Let the game begin. ADVANCED TIPS - These are not required for the enjoyment of the game, but provide information to swing the game in the audience's favor. ~~~ RED TRUTHS No more than nine people are related to this crime. The hacker was unable to change the password to Adam's email. It is impossible to tell the difference between Adam and his daughter over League, unless you had either prior knowledge or voice chat. The hacker's IP is impossible to trace. Katarina Frey's computer knowledge is very limited outside of League. From 3 to 6 PM, Arnold was in the school's computer lab. The computers at Asiraci academy run on a closed network. At 4:30 PM, RoTaRy was too tired to do anything involving complex programming. The password on Adam's account was changed exactly on April 16th, 5:00 PM. The commissioner is not relevant to the case. Between the hours of 3 and 6 PM, excluding Adam, Nanase and Adam's wife, a maximum of two entities knew the password to Adam's account. No actions before April 16th have a direct connection to the hack. The hacker does not have an automated script used to change passwords. There is no true end. Only bad ends, and whichever one I deem is the truth. ~~ AsiRaci School Handbook - Page 13, Paragraph 2 - No electronic storage devices are allowed above 8MB. This includes personal computers, such as laptops. Said electonic storage devices below 8MB are also subject to infrequent checks on a random basis - this is a rule in the student handbook. Arnold does not have the technical expertise to hack an account without some form of assistance. 8MB is not enough to fit a hacking program onto. If Arnold is able to gain access to the internet, he does not require the assistance of a fellow student to do it. ~~ Nanase did not knowingly have a role in the compromise of Adam's account. Nanase is not logged on to any messaging system, aside from the League client itself. Adam's laptop does not have any trojans on it. (This refers to the one Nanase is using) On April 16th, the common friend did not send Nanase a link of any sort. ~~ Adam is not logged into his email on the laptop that his Co-worker is using. The Co-worker's laptop has been issued to them by the company. That laptop's password was decided by both Adam and his co-worker, and thus has no relation to Adam's real password. The password to Adam's account was not changed back until 8 PM. Adam did not return home until 7:30 PM that night. Adam is not the hacker. At no point in time has the co-worker logged into Adam's account. ~~ Prior to 4:30 PM on April 16th (Adam time) RoTaRy had no information as to Adam's password. Hacking a League account counts as complex, assuming you don't have three people or more. If RoTaRy is guilty, no other hackers assisted him in his crime. RoTaRy has not posted any data relating to Adam's account onto the internet. ~~ Prior to April 1st, Katarina and Nanase have had no contact with each other.
  21. Character development trumps all!
  22. Ren'py ones are usually easy to detect as well. Personally if it's an NA-developed VN 90% of the time it'll be Ren'py, but other than that if the quicksave/quickload/etc menu is on the bottom of the screen that's a dead giveaway of a Ren'py game.
