"Read" sounds more mature than "play" if I say so. I guess it's about how you view the VN and yourself, though my opinion like everything else will always be mixed.

Watched 5 episodes in a row of CardCaptor Sakura, didn't get the robust card catching action in ep.16 and ep.18, which was kinda disappointing! Though loved the episodes which introduced Meiling, I like here already. BTY Aw, but were's the fun in that, most anime comedy gold is built on moronic reactions to pervy stuff.

Well so far so good on Steins;Gate the MC is funny enough and the way it's going has immense build up, I get the story is about time travel, but I didn't understand most of anything in Makise Kurise's speech back there, science makes my head hurt man, I curse me for not being smarter!

Let's see here all these VNs seem good, so i'll be sure to check em out. Romance is my fav and I love a couple with good chemistry that goes through many drama and obstacles together(like Gosick and Toradora), and some of these seem to have those kind of stories. Already decided on Steins;Gate so that will be something to look forward to later. Thanks for the help with recommendations, i'll be counting on you guys again in the future, laterz!

Hold It! is the word here! I'm a fan of the Phoenix Wright games myself, but I can tell this is gonna be like DanganRonpa the animation all over again. You see in murder mystery games such as these you have intros to the characters and possible suspects, investigating the crime scene, collecting evidence, getting to the trial being judged over by either a bald old man or psychotic teddie bear and putting all the pieces of the puzzle together in precise order and finally catching the bad guy. An anime would just rush all that in my opinion. Well I guess seeing Phoenix and the crew in anime style would be nice in a way, but other than that I won't get my hopes up, i've learned my lesson about anime adapted from games. Phoenix Wright Forever!!!

I'm on Bravely Default 5th chapter right now, I want to finish this before Bravely Second comes out so must hurry. Actually had this game for a while, but never got around to it till now. Got Agnes as a pretty good White Mage/Spiritmaster so that will definitely come in handy.

Wow so many replies I don't know what to say, thanks for all this feedback. I've looked into some of these at VNDB to get a lil sneak peek. I can see that Umineko looks like a very long VN so it might be a stretch for me to start with that first, it looks like an interesting story, but i'll save that for another time. Hmm by popularity I think to try Steins;Gate, I already have it on my vita and looks like a good story. The runner ups look like G-Senjou no Maou and Little Busters. I want to wait for the Little Busters Perfect Edition that will come out so i'll look forward to G-Senjou no Maou as my next VN. Help is the word here! I'm a total newb at VNs right now so I want you guys to recommend me something. I've got Steins Gate for my vita so I have a sci-fi title that I'm considering right now, but I want my first Visual Novel to be something special so this is just in case. Hmm if you could recommend me a romance title and mystery title I could also read that would be great, remember they have to be spectacular, the best of the best.
