  1. Someone who can cosplay cosplaying as Kud: Myself attempting to cosplay as Kud (sorry for bad quality image): Best cosplay ever:
  2. Name: Weaboo Moe Islands Flag: Anthem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYlHy5PbWiA Location: Shetland Islands History: One day a group of very bored teenage female anime fans decided the world wasn’t moe enough, so they invaded the Shetland Islands. Although maybe invaded is the wrong word, as the islanders did nothing to stop them. On Shetland the highlight of entertainment is watching a sheep give birth, so they welcomed anything that would life more exciting. The girls renamed the islands Weaboo Moe Islands. Government: The government is divided into different sections. Overall power goes to the Moe Queen, who rules as a dictator and really has no idea how to run a country. Every month she meets with all the different government divisions and they have a discussion in poorly pronounced and grammatically incorrect Japanese. Law Enforcement is overseen by the Yandere Division who carry out inventive punishments inspired by Higurashi and School Days on any wrong-doers. The worst crimes are ignoring the Moe Queen’s orders and being a chav. Both punishable by public death (much more exciting than watching sheep giving birth). Healthcare is taken care of by girls in nurse outfits with a firm belief that a sticky plaster can heal all ailments. Maid Cafés are the main source of revenue for the country, and the national dish is food shaped like Hello Kitty. Taxes are paid in the form of sweets. Other info: Everyone must wear an anime school uniform with way too many frills. Even the boys. ‘Desu’ must be said at the end of every sentence. Cute characters like Kud, Lise and the entire Hoshizora no Memoria cast are national heroes that everyone must try to be like. The main ingredient in any of the dishes in the cafés is sugar. Lots of sugar. Future plans include total world denomination, which will be achieved by fluttering eyelashes and offering world leaders some homemade cake in exchange for their country.
  3. Hachikuji Mayoi best girl.
  4. I really disliked FLCL. I won the first volume of it and other titles in a competition, but after watching the first volume I had no desire to continue. It was too strange for my tastes, maybe I just didn't give it enough time.
  5. Day 4 was busy flag protesting and getting drunk
  6. I'm a rather boring person... I can think of one thing. My primary school was on the top of a hill and it was incredibly windy all year round. The design of the door was pretty stupid - it had glass panels and it opened out the way, so if you didn't hold on to it it would be blown into the wall. I think I broke the glass in it about three times before they had the sense to pad the wall.
  7. For me it has to be Planetarian.
  8. Email has been sent, please tell me if you didn't get it. I'm sorry this took so long, I was at the other side of the country for Christmas with bad wifi, so I couldn't get the script together until now. I hope you all had fun doing the first scene, if nothing else
  9. My new year resolution is to finish my backlog of VNs and RPGs, and also to do as many of the lolis on my ever-growing cosplay list that I can afford. I also want to start cycling along the canal at least once a week, but knowing me that resolve will die half way into January. I don't even have a bike yet. xD ... and getting half-decent GCSEs would be a bonus
  10. Starry Sky in Spring is the only otome game I've really liked, try it (if you can get it to run). http://vndb.org/v2021 There's also a parody otome game called Prince of Nigeria that was pretty entertaining. http://vndb.org/v12192
  11. Nice to see another girl, welcome ~
  12. I don't cry easily, and to be honest it annoys me. I really wish I could cry more because I really like it when a story can get such emotions from me. I've cried at an RPG once, which surprised me. Planetarian is the VN that has got me crying. Maybe the fact that it was my first VN contributed to my sadness at the ending. Little Busters, Symphonic Rain, Clannad and others were very emotional, but no tears. I even had the tissue box at hand with Little Busters, just in case... T^T I am reading Katawa Shoujo and from what I've heard I'm hoping that Hanako's route will bring out my emotions.
  13. Sorry, not yet. When Christmas is over I'll get on it. Merry Christmas all ~
  14. Oh dear, I really don't like writing fanfiction. Featuring Shizuru from Rewrite. I drew her last time, so that should be proof enough ^^
  15. Ok, I will send out an email soon with the script and other details. I also think I'll send out scene 3, because unless you're Riki or Kyousuke you have next to no lines.
  16. I noticed this year at an Irish con awareness of visual novels seems to be growing. We had a visual novel panel (with a big focus on Key) and a guy selling VNs, which has never happened in previous years. From speaking to a lot of them it seems that Katawa Shoujo is the reason VNs have caught on here.
  17. When I started with VNs I always turned the voices off, probably because I was used to dubbed anime. Clannad was the first VN that I left the voices on, I'm glad I did. I don't mind either way if it's voiced or not, as long as the voices are fitting.
  18. I made a Key fansite thing many months ago, but it didn't attract many members and didn't even have a proper domain. If someone made a proper Key community I would join.
  19. That depends on what everyone else wants. I've already got lines from some for all scenes, it would be a shame to put their work to waste. Whether the poor quality of this one is to do with the lines themselves or my poor editing I don't know, but if we were going to do the rest it may be best if I just do the basic editing (putting the clips in order and adding the sound), and then someone more skilled does the proper editing.
  20. There is a filter on it that should make them the same volume. I've amplified any of the lines that still sounded too quiet as high as they will go. Here's the edited version with quieter music and the extra amplification, is it alright? https://www.mediafire.com/?drp6xkfzz4lspqc I'm sorry I'm so terrible at this. I anyone is willing to edit further, I can give you the audacity files.
  21. Am I the only one stupid enough to throw away 5 points by not drawing Hachikuji Mayoi...? Maybe I'll add her in later. Here is mine Edit: Now with Hachikuji Mayoi reference!
  22. Thanks, I'll re-upload. All four tracks?
  23. At last, here it is. You may need to turn the volume up a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNrQS0d74Cc
  24. What you did was very good, better than the original anyway. The problem was, as to be expected, we all recorded with different microphones and had different sound quality, making some of the conversations sound unnatural. It's cleaned up a bit now, so it will definitely be uploaded today unless freak accident claims my internet connection. As long as you are not expecting absolutely perfect quality, it shouldn't sound too bad.
