  1. If you can play the untranslated titles, definitely try the Motto Nee, Chanto Shiyou yo. The main protag is not "that kind" of weak, but he blames himself for their mother's death, acts like an emo at most of times so I guess you'll like it as well. Its actually a pretty good game, probably second best title of candysoft after the tsuyokiss legend.
  2. Actually that could work pretty well since characters are pretty charming. I'm sure some people would like to pay a little more for being able to have sex with them.
  3. Koikuma is literally nothing but h-scenes after the common route though (and there are 5-6 h-scenes at the common route as well), without h-scenes heroine routes will be like 15 minutes length or something.
  4. You are getting triggered by too little details mate. I just answered the "why do you like to make everything so bothersome " part of the post I quote, and explained why do they bother with an example. I literally dont care about the rapelay shitstorm and definitely not going bother with arguing about its justness. My point is; Those kind of nukiges are pretty common thing in the eroge industry and japs dont care about the game's content; may it be rape, bestiality, torture or whatever comes to your mind while they're not welcomed in any other countries. Because of that; they are adding the "japan only" warning to all of their games ( this didn't start with the rapelay though) and some of them just blocks foreign IPs so they wouldn't get any unnecessary troubles. Anyway I'm deleting the "rape element" part of my original post so this wouldn't get any more off topic.
  5. Well I have never bothered with checking the game itself, but I'm not really sure how it effect my point. In short they dont want to trigger some people with their games, so they're hiding from the outside viewers. And so far it works pretty perfectly.
  6. The admin of the EGS is a pretty cool guy though, he is unblocking everyone's ip who has pmed him from the twitter. They just dont want to deal with the some retarded problems from outside, for example there was a time where feminists got mad to a nukige and made a fuss about how they should stop making such games and how those games make japanese people look women as a toy etc, probably this is the "international scandal" from the @sanahtlig's blog. Its not just Ninetail, most of companies are pretty friendly even with the foreign fans (except Akabesoft), like Baseson who actually told me their "planned games" from the twitter like 3-4 months before the offical announcement because I was getting worried if they're dead or not.
  7. Well it really depends on what did you mean with "high quality developers" and what do you expect from them. Personally I'd count Baseson firstly since they spend "waay" more money at their games than any other companies with more than 50 heroines with great VAs, 70-80 hours length, good OST (with a couple pretty great vocal songs) and 4-5 good artists.
  8. Well trap protagonist thing was always a trend, but this time its just a coincidence. There are some really hard fans of the Navel's Tsuriotsu & Otome Riron series so they're guaranteed to sell regardless of the quality and Otome Domain was lucky with the release date, there wasn't any games which is worth of buying so the protagonist's beauty (yep he is more beautiful than all other heroines) worked out pretty well. With the numbers; june's top 3 sold a little more than 45.000 copies and Otome Domain got more than half of that because both of number 2 & 3 were pretty shitty, While April's top 3 sold more than 55.000 but none of them could pass Otome domain because there were some good alternatives and sales got splited up between those games.
  9. They are not otome games.
  10. Its not a sequel, its an even bigger remake with new characters, new arcs for the older characters, new gameplay system, new art etc etc. So instead of playing shin koihime, waiting 5-6 months for it is actually a better opinion but since it wont be translated for at least 5-6 years (it'll be so big that they'll release each route as a "full priced game", at least x2 of the Shin Koihime) he can play whichever he wants.
  11. Well technically they already announced; last year they've said that they're planning to release Sengoku koihime X at winter, Eiyuutan 123+plus at Spring and Kakumei at the late summer. Considering Sengoku koihime X's (spring) and 123+plus' (summer) release dates I'm expecting Kakumei at the late fall, or maybe early winter since they've released most of their games at december. They'll release each route as a different game (means 3 different full priced game) at the same time so I think its definitely worth of waiting, specially the Go part since they'll add Renfa & Sheren's mother this time. Gi or Shoku's characters don't seem "that" important, but Go will be something completely new for sure.
  12. I definitely agree with the most of stuff you've said; its one of very rare games where you can enjoy the enjoy the pregnancy period or even the motherhood of some heroines. Not just some CGs, but actual scenes. But also gotta mention that the entire "koihime eiyuutan" series were just an advertisement for the oncoming enormous Koihime Kakumei series so they're kinda special and not very profitable, comparing other low priced games with this would be too cruel. I mean each of them has ton of voiced characters and 15-20 h-scenes at least, its definitely not something that other little companies can afford. As an advertisement it achieved its goal without a doubt though. Edit: For the Yue part; They're planning to use her at "Shin koihime eiyuutan 123+Plus" As one of the plus' main heroine for increasing the sales.
  13. The man is from Hell Guide as well, http://www.mink.co.jp/product/violet/hg/character.html you can see his face at the bottom. Couldn't find the loli though, also I checked the game's cgs and she is not in any of those as well so probably she is from some other game.
  14. Actually everyone else except the protagonist is delinquent in that, but I guess OP gotta bear with it.
  15. I dont consider it as the same thing, In eiyuutan they sold them for 3000-3000-3000 yen instead of just one 9000 yen. Means it was still just one full priced game, they only released it part by part and now will release the combined hard copy one as a "one" full priced game as well. In Kakumei though, They'll release it as "3 full priced game", there'll be 9000-9000-9000 yen three game. Means they have to do x3 content of a full priced game. In short those two are quite different situations, Eiyuutan was just a marketing tactic and it worked very well. But this time they are making a huge project and planning to sell it for "27.000" yen, it'll be something enormous for sure. Also its one of the most popular games Shin koihime Musou's remake so pretty much guaranteed to sell. They'll probably make some kind of special offer like "all three routes are just 20.000 yen" though.
  16. As a long term definitely Shin Koihime Musou's remake. Seems like this time it will be "so long" that they'll sell each route (Shoku, Gi, Go) as a different game, It should be something really enormous since they have never split their games so far, even when its 60-70 hours length like Sengoku koihime or Shin koihime musou. This means every heroine will get much more screen time which is nice, new characters seems pretty nice and on the point, scenario will be completely new, Also releasing all three at the same time is a plus as well. As shorter term I'm a little surprised that how nobody even mentioned ハナヒメ*アブソリュート or 銀色、遥か. I'm also looking forward for フロフロ and 千恋*万花 but lets not forget all other titles.
  17. Pretty much this. You guys are talking like they have some kind of holy mission or they "have" to show the greatness of visual novels to entire world etc. Its just a business, as long as they are making enough profit why would they care about the "bad reputation" or "having less plot" honestly.
  18. Yeah second hand sales definitely doesn't do good for sales, but its something like a necessary evil because without it people will just pirate games this time instead of buying it. The best way to prevent that is making really "good" tokutens, for example Koihime Eiyuutan's this; http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=899605&gc=gc . Hell even I may buy this even though I already played the game itself, look at that delicious Karin's tapestry. Also sofmap usually releases the best Tokutens so games are definitely selling more than those numbers, but still its good enough to give us some ideas.
  19. Yep, its unfortunately true. Eroge industry (or more like sales) is falling a little more with each new year accourding to most of vn companies, and they cant reduce the price of the games because of the VA cost etc. In short they have to do something. This is the reason why are they started to releasing more games at western, they are searching for new markets, and this is the reason why Akabesoft has gone mad with the "Denuvo" thing, all of them are trying to solve this problem without going bankrupt somehow. Japanese didnt stop reading, they just stopped buying games. Currently an average eroge sells only 5000-10.000 copies at japan, while best seller of the month usually gets 20-25k. 2015's best seller was Sanoba witch and even it got only 45.000 sales, while 2014's was Sakigake ⇒ Generation with 50.000. 2016's first 4 months are even worse, only Eushully's Sankai Ou no Yubiwa managed to get 20.000 sales. Now lets just look into torrents; ウィザーズコンプレックス sold only 6600 accourding to TG, while it got downloaded more than 25.000 "JUST" from sukebei's torrent. Its kinda sad, really. Well I'm pretty sure Yuzusoft's new game will get 40-50.000 sales again, but yuzusoft cant carry entire industry by itself for sure. Of course these are just TG examination so they might have selling more than this, TG cant get information from ソフマップ or オフィシャル通販 etc. In short those are definitely not the "exact" numbers, but I'm sure they can give us some ideas about the current situation. Its not death yet and I dont think they'll let this industry die easily, but its going slowly towards to that direction.
  20. 天文時計のアリア (Tenmon Dokei no Aria / https://vndb.org/v18376)
  21. I have played the game itself, and yep while its not a masterpiece I found it as a better than average (though they milked it way too much) but its not my point. What am I saying is how could he judge from just CGs that its worth of translating and worth of working on it maybe one or two years for another person. If he has read the game and will translate or participate in the team I have no objection, But honestly "hey this game seems cool, someone work a year on it and translate for me so I can see if its good or not" doesnt seem very pleasant from a translator's eyes. I'll borrow the VirginSmasher's words; "Translation is not an easy job. If you really aren't a big fan of a VN, you're not gonna have the best of times rereading lines over and over again to translate them correctly. " Translator have to find it "worth of translating" not some random guys like OP who didnt even read the game, or random people like you and me.
  22. How do you know that its "such a good game" or " needs to get translated" before reading / being able to read it? From the boobs CGs of the game?
  23. Made up what? Seriously, did you even read my post? Even if you cut off the Realta nua, Original fate stay night still sold way more than the anime. If you cant see the difference between 146,686 and 96,758 its definitely your problem. And as I said this doesnt even count the Fsn + Ataraxia sets etc, just the sales of FSN between 2004-2005 while we are combining all FSN anime sales. And how that proves your point? Realta nua sold more than original because it HAD extra scenes and VOICES. Then how about To Heart 2, or Island, Kouya etc? Its actually funny how you are specially ignoring those.
  24. I guess some admin is deleting the posts, but I'll say this again; Realta nua sold more because original game "didnt have voices" , it has nothing with h-scenes. I'd give more examples like how To heart 2's +18 version sold way more than the first release all ages version etc but not going to bother with you anymore. If that Island sales didn't mean anything I guess nothing will.
  25. I guess I'll prove that and not going to argue with you anymore. First version of the FSN which got released at 2004 sold 146,686 sales and the PS2 version of Fate stay night, Realta nua in short sold 169,647 copies, Makes 316,333. And this number is without the PSV versions, Fsn + Hollow atarixa set etc. Its "JUST" Fsn and Realta nua. Now, Lets calculate how much did Fate stay night animes sold? Unlimited blade works by Ufotable sold 76,222 at total, 39,283 s1 + 35,992 s2. How about the Original fate stay night anime which got released at 2006? Only 20,536. Finally, Lets add those numbers; While Fsn + Realta nua sold 316,333 copies, Fate stay night UBW season 1, season 2 and Original fsn anime sold only 96,758. Do you need any more evidence? If you want I can give you the sources of those numbers as well, But I'm sure you can find them with just googleing. You are exaggerating the anime sales too much, specially against one of the best sellers of visual novel industry.
