I like how many people made an account here just to post on this thread. I myself came for the Majikoi and stayed for the awesome people.

1 hands down I am going the wanko to kursou route. It has been haunting my days that I was unable to do the kotarou route. Why would they not make one?!? I would be lying though if I said I was not heavily tempted by number 2. 1. Die an excruciating death well over 1 thousand years from now or 2. Die by whatever you were going to die from at a normal time frame?

This implies that I am not to complaint. If that is not so then I apologies and I guess all is cool.

At this point I really think I'm just gonna power through some more kanji As I read a little bit of the novel each day and hope that by the end I came up with some wort of cohesive understanding of the story. I am ordering my second set of kanji cards tomorrow. This one comes with 750 and I can do the first 100 in a week or 2. That should help at least get my foot in the door. The rest will have to be won with blood sweat and Guts!

God I really think that I can't do that. I have a small ocd fit every time I try to play something not in fullscreen and I think it will actually hurt my progress by making me rely on it too much. Guh! I guess I will try to power Trough TD anyways. It would help if there was more VA in it. So 2 questions about TD: 1 how much did I miss on the part that I read? I read up until the golden dragon and the maid were introduced. Is there major keypoints that I am missing? 2 Is there more VA later? I think part of the reason that majikoi seemed easier is because of all the voice acting. It made it easier to read kanji later when I just heard what is was not 5 minutes ago.

Which is the one that does that? Also all I really want is to maybe have an available quick lookup for the kanji I dont know. I dont want the whole novel to be translated for me. Now that I think about it, I actually found the 2 or 3 days of the benkei route of majikoi I tried to be easier that TD. There was more voice acting too. Even the 2 days of the Crab route were easier.

Dammit, I was really hoping you would say I picked the hardest one.... Well I guess i just have to use the jparser thing. Though I do have to ask, I always hear letters and stuff around jparser. What stuff does what? Like what exactly does the Jparser do? Atlas? I have googled into this before but for some reason I can't explain I just really don't seem to understand what it is this stuff does. End result as I understand is that there will be a windows that will put readings to all of the kanji displayed on the screen right? Also why should AI put it to romaji? i can read kana more than fine; is there a specific reason? Last and most important question does it even work in windows 8?

Man, You and I have different concepts of what low tier is. I just played through the intro and part of the first day and I understood almost nothing(*cries silently for a minute*). Please tell I accidentally pick the hardest one from all of the ones you suggested. What is the rating on this one? So far all I got was that he lives in the same room as a really beautiful girl and that he attends a school for demons dragons angels and people. The school was established after some form of war in which a hero di god knows what. Also the little golden dragon is actually pretty damn strong. I am starting to get a little depressed at the fact that 300+ kanji are not enough to even read a small novel...

How do I get to full screen? I put in the setting for it on the menu and it just gets me a black screen and after a while it will go to the title screen in windowed mode. It seems that it will work but only if I am using my laptop screen and not my monitor.

i would tend to agree with you for the most part. However! I am a deviant so that does not apply to me \(-_-)/ My values are vastly different from the culture I lived in. I also have very different viewpoints from my parents. So I think I would be an ass no matter were or to whom I was born. Ha ha ha.

I think you guys misunderstand me. I am not hating on the guys that translated this. I simply think that it is weird to go out of your way to do something related to something you don't like. If you want to translate but don't like H why are you translating Eroge? That is all I mean. Also to the guy that said that we cant complaint. Sure we can. While it is true that it is not necessarily a right to receive fan translations, it is also true that people have a right to their opinion. Am I not allowed to say something sucks just because it is done for free? The train of thought "if you don't like it don't use it " is very childish. If I didn't have to why would I? I only read fan translations because I don't know enough Japanese. I don't think anyone here that can properly understand Japanese would sit through a crappy fan translation if they could help it. Last but not least. Just because you can't do better does not mean that you can't see when something sucks. I can't sing but I know good music when I hear it. And I know that lyrics are not supposed to sound like you are skinning a cat. Even if that is what I sound like....

Well what you are is not a collection of anything but rather the very core of what makes up your consciousness. You cover that up with who you are. I am pretty easily attracted to people but will close off to them as soon as I think they are not friends. That is what I am. Who I am is kind of an ass. I have learned that people don't take it well when you don't like them or when you get too close too fast. So to better cope with society I have altered my behavior. Thereby covering up the what with the who. I am sure most people don't much think about it but they are never very honest to their base desires or instincts. When you first meet a person and you decide you hate them for some odd reason you still put up a charade so as not to be rude. The charade is what I call who. Adaptive behavior. What you are cannot be changed simply because you forgot everything. It would take a very mind destroying event to change your core. Like for example you having to murder your and or rape your own family at gun point. There is no way that you are coming out whole from that one. You are most likely broken. That is enough to alter what you are. one other example would be something like complete isolation from society. it mushes your brain and alters how you see everything. Sorry if my rant is crude or rude but I have a tendency to be a little to direct and open. I dislike censorship of opinions.

hey guys, I am looking for an eroge (not just a VN) that will be possible to read at my low level of Jp as practice. So far I am in my second semester of Jp at college and know all of the kanji Here my vocab is mostly anime geared. So I know the word for shadow, pirate, god, and steel but not the word for desk or lamp. I would say though that my vocab is probably at about 2~5 Hundred. It is too hard to count all the words I know because there are many words that I don't know that I know until I hear or see them. But anyways, on to the criteria! 1) not too old. I like decent visuals and am not a fan of the older character design. 2) Interesting. I am not doing this just to study. I want the story to be interestng. 3) no Hardcore stuff. NO BDSM. No Ubber Moe. NO RAPE. Incest furries and the like are all A OK though. Hell they are encouraged! 4) I really doubt this is going to be an issue but I will say it anyways. Not too easy or simple. I want it to help me improve. 5) mentioned before but I will say it again. Incest, furries, Lolis, are encouraged. 5) also stated previously but I want to clarify. I want an eroge. Meaning while it is not 100% needed I REALLY would prefer it to have sexual content. Particularly if the characters are really interesting rather than the story being interesting. For reference I am a huge fan of Majikoi(all of them) and Wanko to Kurasou.
