About Me: Besides the obvious interest in anime which I began watching as a child mostly through VHS, my interests run through a wide variety of subjects.

* I'm a massive sports fanatic. I play and coach intramural flag football at my university. I go to all the football games at school. I'm also willing to watch many many sports and I follow baseball, football, and soccer in depth.
* As much as I love anime, I thoroughly enjoy a great manga to a much greater level.
* I can be characterized as a geek, but I can't say I'm much of a gamer anymore. I'm a geek when it comes to technology such as computers, learning programming, graphics, and web design. Two of my geekiest projects have been building a DDR dancepad and designing and building robots for three years in high school for competitions.
* 'Everyone has a story to tell; if you'd only stop and listen' is a quote I wholeheartedly believed in. Every person has an amazing tale of where they've been and what they've gone through. This is what makes me love reading about history and geography and enjoy traveling and exploring the ends of the earth.

About Nicknames: The name itself can be broken down into ronin and media. The word ronin itself can be translated literally as "drifting person" and that tends to describe my personality and interests. My interests are wide and varied and my views whether on politics or religion never lands on established lines. The word ronin was merely combined with media as I ran a fledgling multimedia best described as freelance covering many media types. Hence the name, roninmedia was born.
