Problem is, she's not a good antagonist. At all. Which is a shame, because this is one of the better written visual novels I've read...except for her. The writers have made her so unlikable that it's cartoonish, or pantomime - all she needs is a top hat and a curly moustache to twirl while being evil. No one is as illogically unreasonable as her, it takes the player out of the story somewhat - or it did me - because she's just so unbelievably unreasonable. She says all men are lecherous beasts, and appears to despise males - yet she's got a daughter, so she must've saw fit to have sex at some point. That also makes her a hypocrite. In my view, whoever wrote her character went way too far with making the players hate her, so much so that she's unredeemable when the writer's want to redeem her, and her redemption doesn't land.
