√Letter is set in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, where the protagonist arrives in search of Fumino Aya, a pen pal friend from high school who had disappeared for 15 years. After he finds a letter dedicated to him from her that was never sent, he sets out to interrogate her classmates as he wonders if everything Aya had told him had been a lie. The game contains multiple endings based on the player's choices throughout the game.

As such, their accompanying railroads also went into a deep sleep.
Soutetsu had lost his entire family in a rail accident and was adopted into the Migita household, which runs a shochu brewery in Ohitoyo city. He returned to his hometown to save it from the potential water pollution if they accepted the proposal to build an aerocraft factory nearby. He woke up the RailRoad Hachiroku by accident and became her owner. They agreed to help find her lost locomotive for different purposes, with the help of his stepsister Hibiki, the town’s mayor and local railway chief, Paulette, and others.

But one day, as the student council president Rokuonji Kaoruko is searching for male members for the student council, she finds out that Kouki is the manga's author. Ashe, strongly opposes him joining, and in the midst of all this, various requests and troubles of students begin to pile up.

When women of the dojo were called to help in forming the Shinsengumi, they asked Soujirou to disguise himself as a woman and join them. Not so long ago, as the urban areas progressed in their development towards being an information society, there were many places in the mountainous area which kept the same olden feeling. Yoshitsugu was a visitor from 100 years in the future who came to the mountain village Akio-mura. He had been labelled as a failure in the ultra-competitive society in the future, so it was unknown how he was able to travel to the past, an opportunity open only to those with high social positions.
Yoshitsugu, a "naturally born child" in age of artificial birth, wandered about in the mountains in the dark in confusion. He followed a firefly, which led him to a young girl in a small lake. The girl Iroha took him into her home for the night. Afterwards, he was granted special permission to stay in the village and enjoy life in the village for a little while. He got to know Iroha better, along with the actual visitors from the future, sisters Arika and Yuno, as well as the village chief’s daughter, Kotobuki. It was much different than the time he lived in: he felt soothed by the slow and carefree days.
Was it luck that brought him to the past? He thought that even he would be able to accomplish something here, like maybe fall in love with a girl. Their summer love story begins here.

But he was the only boy at the school and curious eyes followed him whenever he went. Amidst this situation, he had two goals to achieve: to fall in love with someone and to become a great magician.

The St. Maradonna Girls’ School has a long unbroken tradition that originates from early back in the Showa Era. Once a year they hold a festival in school, one that should never be made public to the outside world. The festival is all about a secret ritual to bless the students with many children in their futures.
The one with the best grades would be revered as the male god of the festival, responsible for granting everyone superior genes. Our protagonist’s sister however, does not want to be an object of worship and forces Seiji to take her place in school. And so, armed with make-up and a wig, he ends up crossdressing to attending an all-girls school.
Seiji gets exposed almost immediately and before long the entire school knows about his secret (And incidentally, about the “thing” down there). Expecting his life to be over, he is surprised when their teacher announces "It's a miracle from the Goddess!" and everyone believes he's his twin sister Sena who grew a penis by divine power from the Goddess Maradonna. His classmates are now interested in "her" new penis! Wait, this can’t be happening right? Right!?

1. Tokyo Ghoul: Jail 東京喰種 JAIL [151001] Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.
The Jail incident - once, the ghoul Jail committed the crime of mass-killing investigators. But there were few eye witnesses, and no one knew his true appearance. The ghoul youth Rio, as one of the suspects of the Jail incident, was falsely charged with the crime and imprisoned in Cochlea.
Kaneki was abducted by Aogiri Tree. While being subjected to severe torture in their 11th Ward Base, Kaneki finally accepts that he is a ghoul, seeking strength.
At the same time, Anteiku, Aogiri Tree and CCG are fighting a three-way battle. Kaneki evades Aogiri together with his comrades from Anteiku, and at last CCG eradicate Aogiri's 11th ward base.
After the battle ends, Kaneki leaves Anteiku, and follows the trail of what caused him to turn into a ghoul together with Tsukiyama, Banjou and co.
Meanwhile, Cochlea is being attacked by ghouls who seem to be Aogiri's elite forces under the cover of the fight in the 11th ward. Villainous ghoul prisoners are released into the world again. Taking advantage of the commotion, Rio successfully breaks out of Cochlea. Even though he's worn out, he wanders around the town, and is given a warm welcome at Anteiku. In order to prove his innocence, Rio is searching for clues on Jail, who was the cause for his imprisonment.
Rio catches hold of some information on Jail, and decides to approach the ward that he assumes to be Jail's turf. There, he meets Kaneki, who is eating powerful ghouls and seeking to become stronger. Because they share the goal of chasing Jail, they decide to act together. Who on earth is Jail?
The fates of the ghouls Rio and Kaneki, who encountered tragedy, cross towards a new end.

It led to the top floor of the lighthouse, which was a huge fairytale-like library. This was the other world: Remembrance. A small girl named Amahoshi awoke from her slumber and asked for their help in gathering the town’s scattered memories.

Kusanagi Shuuma was living a life of an ordinary boy until one day he got suddenly abducted by one of the three vampire ringleaders - Iris Pumila. Fortunately, Shuuma was able to escape from Pumila at that time and return to his ordinary daily life, but as a consequence of his encounter with her - his body has radically changed and he became a half-vampire. As a side effect of his sudden change, Shuuma obtained superhuman strenght and vampire's vitality but he also started having spontaneous vampiric impulses that are calling for him to suck blood of living creatures.
On top of all of that, Shuuma made a bunch of new bizarre acquaintances with random women from both human and vampire side:
- Maritima Malcolmia, the cute werewolf maid who was tasked by Shuuma's deceased father to restore the family she served to its former glory;
- Calendula Officinalis, a daughter of one of the three progenitor's families, who declared herself as a Shuuma's fiancee;
- Aoi Kamishiro, a tsundere vampire hunter sent from the Holy See's secret anti-vampire organization - the Rubina;
- Lycoris Radiata, an airheaded subordinate assassin sent by Pumila to abduct and capture Shuuma.
While dealing with all these women as well as his old female friends, Shuuma is trying to live not as a vampire, but as a human. Tangled in the midst of this web of conflicting intentions, Shuuma will have to use his vampiric powers despite his aversion to them to oppose the rising forces of evil. His ordinary everyday life of a simple boy is no more.

There are two student councils: the noble Gekka-kai and the fashionable Tendou-kai. They regularly compete against one another and their support is evenly split. As such, he held the sway vote and everyone greatly anticipated his arrival, much like what happened at the school 6 years ago. They say 777 is lucky, but to Daichi, who had planned to spend a quiet school life, it was extremely unlucky.

Love Rec. is basically the winner by default due to incomplete/gameplay/nukige/trap nature of the remaining games. Clephas chose it and gave extended reasoning for particular releases. Micchi also does not mind incomplete Angel Beats! -1st beat- and a fandisc.

A certain tragic event in Ryouta’s past caused his life to ‘end’ and that something happened in his previous school prior to his transfer. Utopia is not quite the paradise that is envisioned, with different castes occupying different areas of the city. The lowest tiers in this city of over 200,000 are about to fall into ‘dystopia’.

Yu Narukami, now living in the city, meets up with Rise and Naoto Shirogane to practice, but they are informed by festival producer Kyoka Uchimizu that Rise's friends will no longer be performing and that Rise will instead be singing alongside her junior idol Kanami Mashita. Kanami arrives shortly thereafter, and they deduce that the change is due to the sudden disappearance of Kanami's idol group "Kanamin Kitchen," whom Ochimizu produces. This reminds Naoto of a recent rumor she had heard, stating "at midnight, if you see a video of a deceased idol playing on the LMB site, you are transported to the 'other side' and will never wake up again." The three view the website to test the rumor, and they are pulled into the world of the "Midnight Stage," a realm in the collective unconsciousness isolated from the TV World, where the Shadows are being bound and controlled by an unknown entity's song under the guise of forming a “bond” with them.

The player takes on the role of Otonashi, a newcomer to the Afterlife who finds himself in the middle of a struggle between a group of students who call themselves the Shinda Sekai Sensen ("Afterlife Battlefront"), or SSS for short, and a mysterious girl who is known under the alias of Tenshi (Angel). The story will undergo changes from the original anime and will include story routes with each of the characters. It also stated that Otonashi will be very different than his original personality in the anime, and will change according to the choices made by the player.

It was decided at the school’s information session that if they can defeat the film research club at a competition, then they would be recognized as a proper club.
He ran around finding members for the new club, but they still did not have enough members as the deadline approached. Just as their future looked bleak, there was a strange flash from his cherished video camera that he’s had for the past 10 years and a small girl appeared before him.

After meeting the easygoing camera spirit Hitomi and the pro video editor Nori who doesn’t attend school, his surroundings began to greatly change.

He was viewed as a weird guy who talked with himself, and pushed down the class rep Midori when trying to prevent the spirits’ pranks. As time passed, he adapted to the rural life and gained the friends whom he had wished for: powerless miko Tsumugi, supernatural-sensing Minagi, youkai hunter Haruka, doting cousin Anna, and even the highly responsible Midori.
However, the recent redevelopment in the area have endangered the forest where the spirits are living. Will they be able to protect the forest? This is a heartwarming story about a town where humans and spirits co-exist.

Amami Gakuin. A popular new school in my hometown Shiroha-chou and one known for being very hard to get in due to countless applicants. Of course with my mental prowess getting in would be hard, to put it mildly. Nonetheless, a special opening for one local of the area seems yet to be filled due to an unexpected vacancy.
Feeling as if the heavens had bestowed a miracle upon him, what will be waiting to come?

There is a mock school on the Internet for those who love galge and eroge, nicknamed “Galge Gakuen”. The protagonist used to be really into it, but now he only logs in as “Ken-chan” to be with his two friends, the self-proclaimed girls’ school student “Pink” and the indecent talk-loving “Tae”. They used to be no more than friends who loved galge, but now their hobbies and conversations extend beyond just that.
One day, a new student entered the school. Since her actions and speech was like a moe character, they gave her the nickname “Moe”. With the cheerful Moe in the mix, their circle of friends had grown to four. However, they were still only online friends. It was frowned upon to ask about their real lives and it was an unspoken rule to not touch this subject.
Then, Ken-chan happened to meet Moe by chance in real life. He pretended that nothing happened in order to protect the relationship that their group had online. But he met her again once more soon thereafter: this time as her home tutor, and she as his new imouto from his father’s remarriage.
This is NekoNekoSoft’s 15th anniversary work, using characters from all their past games as avatars in this game blending reality and imagination. “Ken-chan” is the protagonist from Mizuiro.

There are very few normal titles this month, but enough of gameplay ones. Two sequels weren't good enough for a masterpiece, so Chrono Clock becomes VN of the Month by default. Clephas was of the similar opinion. Micchi and Zen cheer up for gameplay titles like Evenicle and Kami no Rhapsody, but also comedy Puramai Wars and Eiyuutan fandisc.

After school, on a day just like that. A girl falls from the roof of the school building, splattering against the ground.
When he turned back time to find out what on Earth happened, he found the first year girl, Suzuki Miu, who was right in the middle of confessing her feelings to his best friend when Rei walked in at the worst moment.
Miu was an extremely shy, brilliant, and unlucky girl, And all her courage just to tell someone her true feelings.
Our protagonist; Who could only tell someone his feelings with the help of the pocket watch, was deeply impressed by the girl's determination and decided to help her so that her second confession would succeed.
That was the beginning of their bizarre three-way relationship.
At the same time, the protagonist must gather up the courage to confess his feelings to one of the other heroines.
This is only the prologue to Rei Sawatari's story.

With this kind of overdose lack of darker serious sophisticated titles is seen vividly as there used to be some kind of fragile balance before. Micchi applauds the simple joys of Hanasaki Work Spring , Panical Confusion and Yuki Koi Melt while Zen is curious about Anekouji Naoko to Gin'iro no Shinigami from Minato Carnival and Bishoujo Mangekyou nukige .

However, his classmates Ayame and Nanaho were caught in the magic barrier that they put up. When Kenji tried to protect them from Honoka’s attacks, there was a sudden explosion. It appeared that a spell was cast upon them all, making them get into all sorts of naughty situations! Honoka and Kenji agreed to remain until they figure out how to lift the spell.

However, when she told him that he would be able to live in the student council’s exclusive dormitory, he immediately changed his mind. Thus, the curtain has lifted on this fierce and fun battle stage with unique allies and opponents.

He was excited to start his new school life, but his homeroom teacher was the kingdom’s second price Hylen, while the first princess who had summoned him to this world, Flowra, was one of his classmates. Silverio Vendetta is a natural choice for VN of the Month. But I also consider all of Boku no Hitori Sensou , Rakuen no Shugosha , Sanoba Witch and Soreyori no Prologue masterpieces. Clephas has the same favorite with Sanoba Witch given special mention. Micchi in addition to Soreyori no Prologue looks forward to Kujiragami no Tearstilla and Ama Koi Syrups, and even Zer has his picks of Akuma Musume no Kanban Ryouri and Sakura Synchronicity .

On one of the rare days he decides to leave his apartment after a week-long video game binge, a mysterious man attacks him and bites his arm. Mutsuki is very much a girl. However, she knew ever since she was a child that a ‘boy’ existed inside of her. Sometimes he would appear to help her, sometimes to trouble her. Her parents soon divorced because of this and she was separated from her dear twin little sister Nanami.
The years passed and there was a new transfer student to Mutsuki’s all girls school at the end of the summer vacation of her first year. It was her long-separated twin Nanami. However, her personality had changed from doting to cool. Mutsuki was worried that Nanami would become outcasted in the class, but she was particularly cold to her.
She heard from her roommate about one of the school’s seven mysteries, the large mirror in the concert hall. She went there and asked the mirror what she should do. At that moment, she was swallowed up by an ‘alternate time’, then reappeared in front of the mirror. There was a bright light and she heard a voice say to her: “I will grant your wish”.
When she came to, she was in her own room. Was it a dream or was it real? She was holding a small mirror in her hand. From that moment on, the relationships between Mutsuki and Nanami, as well as with the girls around them, began to change greatly.

One day, Yuuma drifted ashore in a suitcase. He met a young girl Riru, who was the kujiragami (whale god) in the legend. However, for some reason she had lost her ability to grant wishes. She asked for his help to regain her powers and thus, he became her messenger. This is the beginning of the story about the return of the legend of the water of wishes.

One summer day, the girl went to the school’s roof instead of the classroom. He curiously followed her and when he reached the top, he was greeted by her cold gaze.
“There is a wall surrounding my heart. You cannot pass through it.”
For some reason, the girl knows his "power".

The topic of the day is anti-terrorism. The story takes place in an alternate history where Japan is the economic center of the world in 2015, where they face threats of terror every day. On February 4, 70 years ago (1945), major cities of the Allied countries all went up in flames at around the same time, bringing Japan to victory. The atomic bombs never dropped, and history basically went the way of an conservative old Japanese man’s wet dream. Fast forward to 2015, and the culture isn’t all that different from the real world aside from the fact that Japan is an economic center that constantly faces terrorist attacks. There’s a bit of the Showa period feeling (high economic growth) to the modern setting.
The political side of things isn’t as important as the supernatural setting. There are rare objects with special powers, called Kurogane, that are used in anti-terrorism measures. Kurogane have a variety of useful powers, but they’re tools that choose their owners and few people have an affinity with them. In a high school-level police academy (which behaves more like a somewhat specialized high school than an actual police academy), there exists a top-secret team of Kurogane users called the Kurogane Team that takes on various missions to eradicate terrorists. The protagonist and heroines are all a part of this team, and the story revolves around their missions.

In the city, Simon Brezhnev continues handing out leaflets outside Russia Sushi, and Shizuo Heiwajima continues throwing vending machines; nothing out of the ordinary in their daily lives. Yuuhei Hanejima and Ruri Hijiribe star in the movie Case Bodyguard 2: Salaryman Ninja Gu, and like every day, Celty Sturluson completes her deliveries.

When he was very small, Yuuji made a promise with a girl to become a magician and save the world. They parted ways soon after and the promise also gradually changed its meaning until all that remained was a ring which they had exchanged at that time.
Many years later, with the world trembling at the impending return of the “witch”, he decided to enrol in a magic school to fulfill his promise. However, even though he had top grades in the written and practical exams, he was failed for the simple reason that he had no training as a magician. He was recognized as a special case in a follow-up exam and entered Maialens Magic Academy half a year later. It is where youths with excellent magic ability train in anticipation of the witch’s revival.
While he was touring the school, he suddenly heard a familiar sound and was witness to a battle. In front of him stood a girl in colourful clothing, wielding a giant weapon that’s too big for her and with a shimmering ring on her right hand. She was the girl who he had made the promise with, Ema. She looked at the ring on his hand and declared that he wasn’t the Yuuji that she had hoped for. He didn’t understand what she meant, but she continued: “I will be waiting ahead for you.”
Afterwards, he discovered that he had been placed into a class of students with low grades. Unless all of them show qualities of a magician within a month, then they will be forced to drop out. So, Yuuji still had not been recognized as a proper student at the school. This is the first step in fulfilling his promise and to save the world.

This is another Japan in a world supported by people with powers that derivate from fairy tales. Kouji was born with the power (‘cast’) “roi jewel”, which appoints the next King. He transferred into Gokyou Gakuen with his attendant Tsubomi, but due to living a secluded life because the country was raising him to be the next king, he and Tsubomi get lost and get to the school really late. When they arrive there's no one around, the go out looking for someone to help them and arrive in a arena where Kouji is attacked by three girls with powerful casts.
After the schools principal arrives and stops the fight she explains the Schools rules. The girl who defeat him in the Butoukai tournament and remain undefeated will marry him at his graduation, but Kouji and Tsubomi didn't know that and he will do his best to not lose to anyone and marry whoever he choses. They all ended up sharing a dormitory and he gradually began to know them better.
At that time, there was sequence of attacks on girls at the school almost every night. As they investigated the truth, they unexpectedly revealed the presence of a mastermind behind the incidents.
Ridiculous synopsis leads to even more ridiculous development and finalizes with harem.

Then his younger sister Konomi came to see him, along with the daughter of his judo teacher and his childhood friend, Amane. What kind of a future awaits him?

Summer soon turned to fall, and his employment situation didn’t change. One day, the manager Torie brought in a girl who had looked troubled on the street. They gathered to ask her questions, but she seemed hesitant in answering them. Himari remarked that it must be because she lost her memories. So, Mutsuki suggested that she live and work part-time at the café while regaining her memories. The girl, Nanase, reluctantly agreed and the everyday at Kirschtorte gradually changes.

He immediately went to meet up with Chihaya, but he was attacked by a black magic warrior named Crimson. However, he can’t fight by himself; he only had the power to bestow magical powers to his partner, transforming her into a magic warrior.
He ran around looking for Chihaya and bumped into Misaki, kissing her on the lips and turning her into Magical Warrior Machalite. They were able to fight off Crimson, but Natsuki was perplexed at how he was able to give his powers to someone other than Chihaya. After he found Chihaya, he discovered that she could no longer turn into Magic Warrior Carmein. Will he be able to overcome the dangers and bring back peace to the human world?

When Ryouto awoke from his coma, the world around him seemed to have changed colour. This is because he gained a special ability which allowed him to see the people’s emotions as colours. For example, happiness shows as amber, sadness as sapphire, anger as ruby, and desire as emerald. Aside from that, he was like any other normal boy.
He returned to his hometown Kaido-chou with his imouto Miu for the first time in three years and transferred into Himawari Garden. They were surprised to see a field of large blossoming sunflowers for which the school was named after, even though it was only May. It was said that sunflowers which bloom outside of their normal periods are supposed to bring good luck to the students. However, there was not much excitement in the quiet classroom and he was also unable to notice any colour in his classmates.
He reunited with three girls whom he was friends with in the past. Their friendship which was thought to last forever had been shattered during that summer three years ago. As he picked up the broken fragments one by one, he felt both the darkness and love which they held in their hearts.

Teito Hiten Daisakusen is VN of the Month. Kami no Ue no Mahoutsukai and Chaos;Child are also masterpieces, but with the latter I'd recommend anime over the game. Clephas chose Kami no Ue no Mahoutsukai at the time, but Liar-Soft game was unavailable at the time.

In order to bring upon “justice”, a special force under the direct command of an organization was formed across the border. Its name was the “Seventh Chord”. Having excelled in manipulating magic (rune) in combat using her life force and living in secret from society, Freya was the only girl who has shown excellent results as a knight.
Freya was summoned to the island of eternal summer, where she was born and raised, by Julius, Seventh Chord's commander and her elder brother who she reunited with after being separated for a long time, for her first mission. There was a small library on that island. It was the Yuugyouji family’s private library built solely for one girl, Yoruko, who didn’t attend school and spent all her time there. Before long, the lonely library became full of light and they became close like childhood friends.
Two years later, Ruri returned to the library after leaving the island due to family matters. Nothing seemed to have changed from six years ago, except that there was a secret which they were not aware of back then: “Anything that is written in the magic book will become reality”. If it’s a romance novel, then a miracle-like love story will unfold. If it’s a fantasy novel, then vampires will appear the next day. If it’s a horror novel, then there’ll be a ghost beckoning you from behind.

This is the first title in feng’s low-price Seiiki series, focusing on childhood friend Fuyuka Akiyoshi.
The protagonist’s childhood friend Fuyuka came from a rich family and was neat and pretty, so she was like the idol of the class. All the boys admired her, but they also found it hard to get close to her. He felt the same way as he had liked her since they were small. Maybe she was his first love. However, they grew distant from one another after they went to separate schools.
One day while returning from Akihabara, he was mistaken for a train molester. The victim was Fuyuka, who he hadn’t seen for a long time. Even though it was just a misunderstanding, she told him that if he wanted her to forgive him, he’ll have to become her butler.

There is no True route or even harem scenes, so there only rather short individual routes. The gist of the the is erotic bakage parody. With the right mindset and expectations this can be a very enjoyable game. Among the visual novels of 2014 it's the most appealing one to take up for review. With this kind of clothing I guess I need to be extra careful for Youtube not to give me hell like it happened with both Soleil games.

This is a world which looks very similar to ours, or possibly a world which shares the same history, but developed in another way. In 1926, the bustling imperial capital of Japan, Tokyo, is a strange blend of newly developed mechanical technology and automatons from the olden days. A great world war had ended not too long ago and another loomed in the horizon, but even with the special procurements in preparation for war and rising anxiety in the city, the general populace were still enjoying their lives full of pleasure and prosperity.
However, there was an influx of atrocious crimes menacing everyone from the poor to the rich: murders in back alleys, child abductions, robberies with arson, currency counterfeiting and property destruction. It did not seem to be work of humans. Accounts of strange persons in the city soon spread, and it was agreed upon that they were the work of the spirits, specifically the tengu. One tengu who had come to the city to enjoy the culture in his own way, Garan, resented being blamed for all these crimes. He sensed that these incidents were linked to his bitter enemy, the kijin, and sought to annihilate them.

It was the beginning of a heartrending love story with a tinge of mystery.
English impression touches only technical side. But even with that cast aside scenario is too loose on the main Haruka route. There's a lot of drama and trauma that only get partially fixed in the end. Resolution is opportunistic, of course. Scenario has high points, but its elements are cooked poorly. If you've run out of decent nakige, it might be a nice one to play with all the patches piled up.

As soon as they started, they found themselves in the middle of an open field. “Wizard Generation” was an extremely realistic VR game which appealed to all five senses. They were surprised at this unprecedented piece of technology and soon become absorbed in playing the game, even Yuria who did not initially accept it. Soon, the class rep Ouka and Shuuho’s childhood friend Natsume also joined their party. However, while they were enjoying the virtual game, the real world was about to reach a turning point.

Hiroyuki heard about this incident from his friend Satoshi from the manga research club, but he did not think it concerned him. That was until he learned that it contained the delusional writings (black history) which they had written together in the past. He would do anything to get it back. If the contents became known, then his school life will be ruined!
He was sent to infiltrate the literature club. Even though he didn’t see eye-to-eye with the literature club’s deputy leader Juri due to a previous accident, he was somehow able to join the club. He found it in total disarray since they were finalizing the preparations for the culture festival on a short notice. They probably would have normally been a bit more guarded, but now wasn’t the time to worry about such small things. He helped the members with their preparations to get closer to them, as he investigated the whereabouts of the journal.
If you wondered why this game has no English reviews, it's because of the Hen word in the title, sadly in its worst meaning. With weak text, scenario and individual routes only H emphasis remains.

7. Hotarubi no Shoujo 螢火ノ少女 [141128] Jirai Soft
The solitary island of Kyuubi-jima lies in the Sea of Japan. It was named after the legendary nine-tailed fox after a shard of the sesshouseki (killing stone) had reached the island when it died. However, many people left the island to escape from the inauspicious name, and before long the island had its name changed to Hotarubi-jima (light of the fireflies). However, even with its new beautiful name, an ominous shadow still casts over the island.
Natsuki lost his mother when he was born and moved at a young age to Hotarubi-jima when his father remarried, along with his two new imoutos. But his surroundings changed completely after the accidental death of his father. Taking care of three kids was deemed too much for his sickly mother-in-law Kaede, so Natsuki and his youngest sister Tsugumi were taken in by relatives outside of the island, while his other sister Madoka remained on the island as the successor of the Tsukumo household.
Many years later, Madoka suddenly vanished and there were whispers among the islanders that she was spirited away. No one could find her, so she was considered as dead by an accident. News of Madoka’s death reached Natsuki and Tsugumi on the mainland. However, Kaede prohibited their return to the island and they were unable to attend her funeral. A few years after that, Tsugumi suddenly received a letter from Madoka, simply telling them to come to the island. After discussing it with Natsuki, they decided to return to Hotarubi-jima to find out the truth behind the letter. They soon learned about the sad truth and cruel past of their family clan, as well as the secret of the island.
Nukige, but after Tsuisou no Augment curiosity persists. Production team has changed, so it's best not to have any Tsuisou no Augment allusions. Basically, it's a denpa with a lot of fixed bad endings. There's a lot of unexplained mystery everywhere for a short and fragmented story, but nothing worthile for the tremendous amount of effort and endurance needed to reach the True End.
There aren't masterpieces in October. If I had to choose one, I'd say Mayoeru Futari to Sekai no Subete . Clephas decided to skip nomination entirely. Micchi adds to the already mentioned title Hanokiwa Logic and Unmei Senjou no φ .

The indiscriminate alien attacks awoke him and he led the humans to a decisive victory.
One year later, while the areas which had been destroyed by the aliens were still being rebuilt, Ryuusei was appointed as the commander of the newly-formed Defence Force of Earth, which was created to fight against space invaders. However, he was the only person who could use the ‘imagination embodiment device’. If something was to happen to him, then calamity would befall the world. So the Defence Force of Earth decided to recruit girls with potential to fight alongside him. Even though they hesitated at first, they each had their own reasons to join Ryuusei. Thus, the special force ‘Blade Briders’ was formed, to protect the Earth against the aliens who have returned.

Even though they each have great individual ability, there was no group unity. He seeked to solve their worries with the help of his best friend Kazutoshi and Katou-sensei, so that the girls can both mature individually and develop together as a group. Their goal is to perform on the biggest final stage ‘live alive’.

Why does the protagonist like black hair so much? Well, there’s no need to have a reason, but it might have had something to do with his surroundings during childhood. Thus, it’s only natural that a beautiful black-haired girl would appear before him when he was about to freeze to death. He was captivated by her beauty and thought to himself that if he was going to die, he would marry a black-haired bishoujo like her. So, he proposed to her on the spot.
Many months later after he had miraculously survived, the girl Ichou, who was one of the gods of marriage, returned to become his bride. Arata is a student at Senba’s Tsurubane Gakuen. Modelled after the capital, the recently-built city of Senba is commonly referred to as the ‘miniature garden city’. Even though it is still small, the facilities are quite similar to what you find in downtown Tokyo and the population density is also quite high.
One day in October, he was summoned to the student council, Benizuru-kai. The student council president Shizuku asked him to investigate a string of mysterious incidents which have taken place in the city. There had been six students who have disappeared since April. With no eyewitness accounts, she suspected that it was a very widespread case. There was no link among the disappeared students and the school thought that it was strange as well and wanted an investigation into it. She told him that it would be enough if he would just pretend to do something about it.
He thought it was a bothersome task and was planning to turn her down, but for some reason she knew everything about the embarrassing chuuni novel which he had written before he moved to the city. Faced with blackmail, he had no choice but to accept her request.
He began the investigation with his only friend, extremely perverted kouhai Koko, whose best friend was among the six girls who disappeared. Then a mysterious girl Kirika suddenly appeared, all dressed like a detective (complete with cape), proclaiming that the incident was not a simple disappearance case and it was closely related to the city itself. She then asked him to unravel the city’s secrets with her.

Then, he remembered one of the school’s seven mysteries: “There is an invisible girl wandering about the school.”

The solitary island of Shintenjima is said to be an island of illusion, only mentioned in occult-like rumours. It does not fall under Japanese territory, nor is it owned by anyone else. No one knows who lives there, nor what lives they lead. It is an island shrouded completely in mystery.
Iori is a young man who doesn’t remember anything more than five years ago, but he has a link to the island. He received a letter summoning him to Shintenjima. He was greeted by the maid Linja and brought to the mansion Hourinkan. There he met the owner Karin, as well as the fellow guests, many of whom were around his age.
Surrounded by bishoujos in a suspicious mansion on a secluded island… He had a feeling that something was going to happen.
The game is compatible with tablets running Windows 8. It features two new systems: the ‘Fortune Divide System’ where you could use a sword in the interface to ‘cut’ the screen and reveal new choices (swipe the screen for tablets), and the ‘Detective Mode’ where you search for clues to solve a task (although you could always right click for the answers). There’s also a ‘touching mode’ where you touch girls and you can hear their reactions. At first, it feels that this gameplay is a throwaway, but the use of the sword is actually vital to the progress of the story. There’s also a secret notebook and flowchart to help you along the way.
