Himouto Umaru-chan "Stole" Otome Domain's UI
Beichuuka replied to Huang Ling Yin's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
I don't see why they wouldn't make it similar to an existing UI. It has way more value as a reference when people can go "Hey, I know where that's from!" than just some generic UI. -

I see how you can mean it that way, but the way you said it, people aren't going to read it that way. -

I'm not sure what he's agreeing with because I didn't say I didn't care. -

Wait, this isn't even a VN, but a scene in an anime, right? People can't seriously be getting worked up about this. -

Immediately Satisfying Anime (for teens)
Beichuuka replied to Kenshin_sama's topic in Anime/Manga Recommendations
Hyouka - I don't quite remember what ep 1 was like for it, but I remember it picked up quite quickly. One Punch Man - Can't get much faster than that in terms of action. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi - I hate how they skip over the first few episodes, but it does make it go faster overall. Kuroko no Baske - ep 1 is enough of a hook, I think. Baccano! and DRRR! - I remember showing these to teenagers a while back and they love it. Magi - I would actually suggest watching ep1 of season 2 first. That got me pretty interested in the series. Ookami to Koushinryou - aside from minor nudity should be fairly interesting Reservoir Chronicles Tsubasa - not the best anime adaptation, but hey Nodame Cantabile - I can't actually remember how it started but I know I enjoyed the entire series. Gin no Saji - Again, not sure where it picks up, but is interesting from ep1 Moyashimon - If anything ep1 was probably the most interesting. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun - This was hilarious from start to finish. Hikaru no Go - Is slow to pick up so goes against the requirements, but I'd still recommend this. Kami-sama no Memo-chou - Being able to introduce a bunch of interesting characters in one episode is good -
Mr. Poltroon's Romance Manga Recommendations

https://myanimelist.net/manga/14787/Ame_Nochi_Hare I heard you like gender-bender. Seishun Rikon is pretty short and sweet. You should get that one off your to-read. Of course, if you can get your hands on the novel, even better. https://myanimelist.net/manga/109243/Haru_to_Bonkura Another short one, though.... romance? Kinda? https://myanimelist.net/manga/67405/Musume_no_Iede https://myanimelist.net/manga/76811/Koiiji These are by the same author as Aoi Hana You should get that and Sasameki Koto off your list, too. Good yuris that showcase two ends of a spectrum, I feel. https://myanimelist.net/manga/103123/Tatoe_Todokanu_Ito_da_toshitemo I like where this one seems to be going. Yuri. https://myanimelist.net/manga/58141/Machida-kun_no_Sekai Not a romance first but some aspects. Heartwarming. https://myanimelist.net/manga/89087/Wotaku_ni_Koi_wa_Muzukashii Game otaku x fujoshi https://myanimelist.net/manga/98187/Saraba_Yoki_Hi "It's true afterall. I can never marry Kei-chan" Edit: https://myanimelist.net/manga/1162/Bitter_Virgin Somewhat surprised I didn't see this one on the list. Edit: https://myanimelist.net/manga/92629/Nobo-san_to_Kanojo Falling in love with a ghost you can't see. -
I wonder if he updates these anymore.

I know this is old don't forget To Heart also gave us the resident Tsundere in Hoshina. I also find it hard to place her under the "cute moe girl" category, as kivandopulus apparently does. It actually got to be quite annoying how antagonistic she is in her route......

Wait, what? Kimi ga ita Kisetsu is pre-2000? I actually like that game a lot, though IDK if it's my NTR fetish that makes me attracted to the side heroines rather than the main heroines...... -
Yume Miru Kusuri: Review + Nanjou Discussion
Beichuuka replied to FinalCloud's topic in Visual Novel Talk
If you look around Twitter for issues regarding gender equality and whatnot, you occasionally see claims being thrown around that of a class of girls who use the train, every single one, at some point or another, experience harassment. Unsubstantiated claims, but it does give you an idea as to just how rampant it might be. *I have not played the game and have no idea what the level of harassment depicted in the game might be. -
Sounds like you might like Kengan Ashura

Beichuuka replied to Shikomizue's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Well, you've hit the weak spot in the game, then, because the writing is bland. Really bland. If you're anything like me, you WILL find yourself bored if you try to read the whole thing. -

I mean, you don't really have to read it to get the experience. It's free. It's short. Try skipping through it if nothing else. -

You could always try the play-by-post type. Checkout Myth-weavers if you haven't already. The thing about DM is that you're supposed to let the players win in the end (barring utter stupidity on the part of players), And it seems to be a more difficult mindset to get into than one would guess.

I'd point out you never argued in the first place. You simply threw out unsubstantiated claims and tried to discredit anyone who would even suggest you might be wrong. On the Kancolle impersonation matter, I don't see how you can not keep it in the original Engrish to keep the effect if it is in fact an impersonation. Fans of Kancolle would likely appreciate the reference (though I would not as I know nothing whatsoever about Kancolle). Unless there is a well-established in-world counterpart you can show the reader using the modified 'Engrish', I don't see how turning the Engrish into Japanese could possibly be the right choice.

Just a cursory search on Japanese forums. I saw nothing to indicate that it was axed.
