I'm always fairly wary of microtransactions myself, and generally approach them with a great deal of skepticism - despite the fact that I do, admittedly, make use of them from time to time in my mobile gaming drug of choice. In general, if I really - really - like a game, and thus want to directly support the developers, it's free to play, and I can squeeze a reasonable value out of the transaction, I'm not all that against them... thus, for me, a AAA game's loot box system is a no-go, while a discounted item bundle in Love Live! is fair game. Developer support in particular can be a big thing for me - in the past I've made a fair number of microtransactions in the game Fallen London in part out of complete and utter overwhelming support for the folks behind it, and a desire to see them succeed.

This thread is relevant to my interests... though I guess my avatar was probably enough of a clue-in to that, lol. I'm fairly new to SIF - been playing since September, abouts - and have been loving the shit out of the game since picking it up. I'm not exactly incredible by any stretch (my FC rate on expert is pretty damn abysmal, and my score rankings on events are basically gutter-level), and I have some incredibly awful luck when it comes to scouting, but eh. Still an awesome game. Don't really have much else to add at the moment - just figured I'd pop in, say 'allo, and complain that I've yet to receive a single damn Trick SIS.

Heya, hiya, g'morning, g'day, how ya doin', and all that. I've lurked this forum occasionally, from time to time, for a while, and figured I may as well make an account. Maybe post here and there, once in a while. About myself... mm... I'm basically a hopeless weeb. I consume Japanese media like crazy, and have been branching out toward Korean media as well. I love anime, and all of that, and am a bit of an Asian cinema fanatic - I've been going through a ton of Japanese and Korean movies lately, and have been enjoying the ever loving hell out of them. Beyond that, I'm part-time kpop trash, and full-time Love Live trash. I used to voraciously consume every single visual novel I could find that had been translated, but kind of lapsed in my VN reading for... uh... a while. I've recently started poking around with them again though, now that English language VNs are basically growing on trees. Sooo... other than Asian stuff, I enjoy hiking, occasional camping (wimpy camping, though - give me an RV with electricity, rather than a cold-ass tent), and cooking. I'm not entirely sure what else to say about myself, so I'll just leave it at that. So yeah. Hi. Please treat me well, etc, etc, etc.
