So, Jalter, even without Merlin, is still incredibly powerful. The synergy of her skills makes any unit that can buff crits REALLY power her up. The crit damage up + star weight up skill is REALLY good in conjunction with the buster up skill, so if you can get her and a Merlin support, or maybe a Waver support, you can really steamroll a lot of fights in the game. In addition, being that she's an Avenger, nothing can actually resist her in NA right now, and she also gets a 1.1x attack multiplier on her attacks because of her class, making her ideal for taking out really beefy Berserkers. Since everything in NA only has a single life bar, Jalter just cleans up house when it comes to any and all fights that have only a single boss unit. I'm just sitting around with 300+ quartz, waiting for MHXX to be rollable on JP rn.

King Hassan's skill set is unique, with a focus on getting instant kills, but like most RPGs, those kinds of effects just usually don't work on bosses (or have way too low of a success rate). With the exception of a few challenge quests like in Nero Fest, Jack almost always beats out King Hassan, in my opinion at least. I honestly haven't used King Hassan all that much either, just looked at his kit and tried him a few times here or there.

Iskandar's kinda underwheliming, imo, though I haven't rolled him. Shuten's good support, gets a lot of debuffs in. She could be useful in some later fights, but she's not all that impressive from what I've seen... I haven't rolled her either though. If you had to go for a 5* Assassin, I honestly recommend just waiting for Jack to show up at some point.

It's finally happening, the NA event and JP Rerun event will actually have the same exact event going on at the same time.

I got suuuper lazy and did like, the bare minimum of 10 boxes. Got bored of the grind pretty quick.

I honestly didn't think this would ever actually happen.

Oh dude, Tamamo + Vlad + (Support) Waver is one of the most powerful teams in NA right now. Tamamo supports the team with heals (and NP with her own NP) and arts power for Vlad, Waver supports with his NP and boosting the crit damage for Vlad, and Vlad's NP itself makes a bunch of stars and an arts boosted arts card will always fill up the NP gauge more. So you have a very consistent flow of NP, heals, damage and crits, all together in that team there. Even better is the fact that Vlad is a zerker, so you don't actually need to worry about matching classes. My recommendation is actually going to be: Focus on raising Tamamo and Vlad right now, because of how powerful the team is. It'll carry you through LOADS of fights.

Right, that part with Nero having infinite defense happened to me before too. That's what Sherlock was for. The idea was to have stars come in for Sherlock, followed by critting something to death. The kill order I used was Medea > Amakusa > Jack > Ozy > Artoria > Nero. Sherlock gave the team ignore defense and crit buffs, Merlin gave the team heal, NP, and the buster buff to make sure crits killed something, and Jeanne defended and removed debuffs (Jeanne also doesn't stun from her NP anymore, so super helpful there.) So once it got down to Nero, I switched in Sherlock, had him give Artoria Archer ignore def, and it was pretty free from there. ...Which is why I was pretty impressed that fruits did the fight without either, so props. Maybe Merlin wasn't as important as I thought.
