Personally, I thought limiting the story to that angle was kind of bad in this case. Sure, it's an eroge, but it could have been better.

This is what I was getting at. I mean take a look at Katawa Shoujo, it's a free game and it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I was hoping more indie developers know that there is a market for these games. I got into them through sheer boredom and I was looking for something to play that wasn't the same game just with a different name. I never looked back on that day since. Most of the time I wrote until my eyes went numb, but VNs gave me something to look forward to in my writing. I am making stories that I want to turn into VNs one day because of them.

I'm playing FF7 again and I'm playing the remake on the computer and the original on my tv. I wanted to do a side by side comparison of the two.

Fair enough. I know that they are like laserdiscs and not played a lot by many people. It's just a shame really that most indie developers don't think of the genre that much.

Confession: I want to find my family by choice. I was told when I was young that people have two families. One that is given to you and one that you choose. I want to run as far away from my family as possible and never look back on it. They can be so hateful towards other people that I am ashamed to have known them. I have found a brother with a friend of mine, now I hope I can find the other people to make my life whole again.

Sometimes I wonder about how the writers felt when writing that. I never understood that to be honest with you.

I have noticed in the past few years that visual novels are flying under the radar for most game developers in the west but I have to ask this. Are visual novels going to hit mainstream or are they going to remain a niche forever. I hope for the former, because their are a lot of good writers in visual novel genre that have made a lot of good stories that need to be told. I believe they are good for indie developers due to them being cheaper to produce than a walking simulator and a horror game sometimes. I don't know if people will see what i am talking about, but those who do, What is you opinion on visual novel medium. Is it a hidden gem to go mainstream or a thing that will go away in a few years.

It just depends on the writer. What is good to you may not be so with me. I felt like it said a few things and never went back to them. I don't know, maybe i wasn't reading in while i was in the mood for them or something.

Frontwing does make some good VNs, but this game is painful for me to read. I thought I was reading something from Sekai or something, but it doesn't have Sekai's bad quality. Good thing i haven't paid money for this game.

It's up in the air for me. Personally, I would like there to be more plot elements involved in these scenes, but you get what you get. I rather listen to a good story than be distracted by erotica unless it is necessary for plot sake.

I am cheating slightly, but I got these a few months ago. I need to clean up slightly, but I need to get some money put away for my next run.

I have been trying to play Ane Yome Quartet, but to my suprise, I can't get used to VNR. So have been waiting on some games to come my way. But i have been playing Making Lovers and i am feeling good about it so far.

I haven't played games in a while, but when I do, I'm usually playing Virtue's Last Reward or Crooked Man.

I was just curious if anyone on here has any recommendations on some really old anime. I have been looking through some of my favorites lately and I was needing some new recommendations. I'm mainly looking for stuff from before the anime boom of 2000 and I'm trying to look at obscure anime or something that isn't popular at the time. Japanese titles can be recommended. I appreciate the help if any. Thanks.

One of my favorite lines came from Harukoi Otome. I may butcher the exact line, but you'll get the picture. Again I may of butchered the line, but I thought it was a funny line in this game. Another one I liked was in Majikoi by Koyuki and Jun during the beginning of the game. I think I butchered this as well but you get the idea.

Right now it's one of 5FDP's new songs from their new album, but I trying to get some songs off this computer and onto my phone, specifically songs from my favorite VNs. I'm not good with computers and it drives me mad that I can't get them as separate files.

I play mine for a long period of time when I'm in the mood. Probably eight hours a day if I'm playing one I enjoy. Most of the time it's between four and six hours tops.

I agree. I rather have a protagonist that has progressive mindset than one that was there to be there.

What a game that was. I haven't enjoyed a game like this one in so long. I wish there were more like it.
