I Had picked this girl up sometime between 2016/2018, as i had found TAKARA's old early-2000's "Lillian" Headsculpt rather Charming. oddly, once i got hands on her, it ended up happening that found more use for the included Kimono than for the Doll herself. All of these years later, rummaging through my old storages to pair-down in prep for a forthcoming Move... i come across her again, and finally give her the TLC she always Deserved♥

Indeed. Last one i saw "Available" was like $1500 USD on EBAY. i got her back in late-2019 for around $100.00 IIRC...

The Difference is Astounding. a Genuine 100% improvement, YMMV. what's more; the Wig stays on so well all on it's own that scalp caps (and/or double-sided Adhesive strips) are Completely Unnecessary~

It will Be at least another Day before the first of Yuna's two new Dresses arrive... so i took the time to rework the Fit of her original Blouse and Skirt set to allow for the added bulk of her Cotton Bra and Panties. also tweaked her Mary Jane Shoes and dressed up her previously quite minimalist Blouse some;

"Tenchi Muyo!" was a complete Phenomenon in Japan throughout most of the 1990's... and Picked up real hard in popularity in the U.S. for a brief period in the early-2000's. i was there at ground zero... and TM! was, essentially, the first major Anime series i was deeply invested in that was not Mecha-related. In Fact; My TM! Fandom was centrally responsible for driving me into Anime Character Dolls and their Customization potential. i started out with a full set of TOYNAMI's very clumsy 12in. TM! Dolls around 2001/2002... and in 2023/2024, i came back Full Circle, after a fashion, by acquiring TAKARA's two-doll mid-90's Juraiian Alien-Princess pair, both of which being long-time Grails of mine... and both being very amenable to an upgrade to the fabulous 2018 OBITSU 26cm. Been of the Mind, lately... to Return to where it All Began, - with Me and Anime Character Dolls - Twenty-some years ago... and Do it All Better this time Around. Where i had the Trio of Ambitious-yet-Clumsy TOYNAMI 12in. "Tenchi Muyo!" Dolls two decades ago... i now have the equally-short-lived Juraiian Princess Sister-Pair of TAKARA Jenny/Licca-sized Dolls that Came and Went just about as swiftly sometime around the middle of the 1990's. Ayeka Jurai (TOYNAMI 12in.) was my First Anime Doll... and the one that compelled me to pick up hand sewing as a skilled hobby. Picked this Special Ed. TAKARA Licca up in March for fairly cheap from a JPN source. She Appealed to me, as i have been looking for a Japanese Shrine Maiden (Miko) outfit for my OBITSU 26 custom-bodied VOLKS To Heart Multi Karusugawa for some time now. i just recently Finished extensive modifications on the upper, "Hikama" half for a better fit, and i had to source the lower "Skirt" half from another, far larger doll, extensively modifying that too in the process. Also, i had to make her proper "Tabi" Socks from scratch. All this Work... i suppose i almost could have made the outfit from scratch nearly as easily. Well, You Live and you Learn. this was my very first Licca doll; and i presumed Licca Fashions would translate to an OBITSU 26 doll with minimum of fuss... i was Wrong. at any rate, i was able to successfully salvage a bad situation... and Sweet, Innocent Multi here finally has the lovely Miko outfit she was asking for♥
