Well I did in fact learn Japanese while waiting for some Vn translation Enought to be able to understand with helpo of dictionaries for Kanji anyway. But I cant really say I can enjoy nontranslated VN with my level of Japanese. It takes me 10 times more time to read through unvoiced stuff. So it is hard to just enjoy the action with constant straining of your mind and looking through dictionaries. When the text is voied by actors it is faster tho. And I can apreciate some of the word play that is only possible in Japanese now that I can actualy understand them speaking. But I still take English translated novel over untranslated evry time. I bet it will take me at least 5 more years to be able to read Kanji at decnt pase, enough to enjoy the story without my head buring.

on other Topic - it seams Wairu translaton of Majikoi S and A1 is dead or dying only one update in last 6 months. thats a shame

they are sort of very short houtes where action concentrates on Moro/Gakuto/Capt. They arent Focused on Yamato relations with them at all. Its more of a fleshing out their characters and motivations. Initialy i was hoping that at least in his own route Gakuto will finaly find a girl for himself ... A lot of wasted potencial here ...

Here me PPL ! My life has reached the dengerous turn now and i ma affriad if i cna make it, unless I get this question answered ! WHO is the Majikoi S secret character !!! Her voice appears in few skits but even as i cleared the whole game I havent saw her in game once. (She is labeled as Mistery Voice) Am I wrong or just Stupid ? Taskete kureru !

I do have isue with relpayign scenes in Majikoi A-1. I am pretty sure it is becouse i use "run with japanese locale" funcion to do it. If i had turned my whole windows to japanese settings and then play the game I think there would be no problems. Problem with Japanese Locale is that it emulates japanese settings only for the single aplcation you run. If the game tries to load content from diffrent files that olso need japanese settings to load preperly - various crashes appear. BTW similar problem was with Majikoi S in game cutscenes not playing if you didnt run it with japanese setting s urned on whole windows.

The thread simply become sort of general for the comunity of players waiting foir game translation From what we hear the progres on translation is ongoing. I expect some mayor anouncement of the progress will come up evry month, as it is pointless to make more statements. The other thing is I imagine it can be hard for ppl that do not follow this thread dayly to find info relationg to the translation among our of topic posts

Agave after story is no longer "true" route. All after stories are concentrated arround H-stuff. Majikoi S is more of a Fan disck than a real story continuation. I like it nevertheless for expanding on this great universe. If it was about my preferences I would be happy to have new Majikoi game evry 2 years !

The problem is we want another Majikoi game with a lot of story - but i dont mind more H-scenes than in 1st Majikoi too ;p

School Days is an awesome game ;p Franky I was hoping that interactive anime genre will be more popular after School Days came out, This ought to be the future for Eroge ! + Great Variety of Endings + great audio and Songs - Kanashimi no Mukou (one of my favourites Anime Songs ever) + decent to good visuals (for a game) + some nice fetishes involved + + + awesome concept of interactive Anime - still not enough control over shujinkio (protag) - Makoto is an ashole no matter what you do. I agree Anime was lousy.

Sorry for my typos - I make a lot of those even when using my native language. I usualy try to correct myself imediatly if possible, but latly I suffer from some minor sight problems so sometimes I almost writng blind :] No worries tho I think this is just temporary. I know there might be somewhat diffrent from ordinary VN, hevertheless they all origin from Japanese Eroge. Some are even constructed in form of VN with RPG elements. So I would like to know if anyone had played any intresting game from that category. As mentioned before I used to play one game from this genre a looong time ago like 6-8 years, and it was pretty fun even tho the game was pretty simple. It had some story to it + RPG stuff like studing to get smarter etc. I was curious if there are any notable games of this kind that might be worth trying nowadays. PS. I am pumped up about reading Grisaia soon as well. After I am done with "Harem Party" I will eighter reread all Majikoi series and then start Grisaia or jump to it before Majikoi.

Vell since a lot of piple are bragging about what they are reading right now I just finished Sagara Family (so so - not that I can reay recomend that one) Now i am reading Harem Party - (a bit better so far mix of heroic fantasy and harem) On the other hadn - I was wondering if anyone could recomend me some Datesimulator, I mena I played one some very long ago and I liked it and I cant find anythign similar this days. And I mean game focused on building realtionships (a lot of H-scenes is welcome) happening in present days with multiple girls to pick from. Enlsih translated. I hope you know what I mean

The beauty contest between Hideo and Gakuto is actualy on of the better moments of the game :-] And I love how evryone is awed when he removes his bottoms ^^. And Gen-san remark about only loosing slightly ^^

It mostly involves you working in various seasonal labours for like 4 hours a day to cover for your acomodation and meals. It is al phusical and mosty on the outscirts, and it was 6 years ago anyway. Anyway trip like that is no trival thing and I recomen you have evrything planed beforehand. And I also imagine you shoud be caucious about going for such offer. Anyway there are a lot of discusion boards for traveling to Japan - you can contact ppl that live there and try arranging things like that. Going to japan for a month or so has been my lifetime wish, so I cheer on anybody who have similar wishes.

Originaly I planed to skip Tokyo to prolong my stay arround Kansai region, perhaps stay in some traditional inn for a 3-4 weeks or so.to experience a bit of traditional Japanese lifestyle. Also I heard it is possible to get some part time job there while visiting to easen the expenses.

talking about anime gadgets - I am realy - planning to buy dakimakura with Kureneko from Oreimo someday, I guess I might buy one case with Kokoro too. there are 2 problems tho - prices + delivery - and living with the family I guess Ill postpone this untill I travel to Japan myslef - this autumn or next years spring/summer.

Agave is hardly True route - if it was than all continuations would be based on it. Its more of a final route. After all there is no cannon route in Majikoi. I d like to read translated Agave but I am waiting for Mijako more.
