Zero no Tsukaima; couldn't really stand any of the characters and the "plot" was just...

Day 4 went to the golden land and never came back, poor four....who knows what happened to it.

Spent the last moments of 2013 reading Umineko and the first moments of 2014 reading Umineko. =D

Handing in my assignments late this year because I was procrastinating (watching anime, playing games etc.) instead of doing them which resulted me in having to ask one of my professors to extend the deadline for all his assignments without any penalities. I'm still disappointed in myself for having to kind of lie to my prof that I was too busy to finish them on time when I was just prcrastinating..

My fondest memory would be playing Little Busters! for the first time and completing my first VN route, Kud. It was my first time being exposed to a visual novel in general; experiencing good/bad endings for a character, choosing specific options that affect your story and everything about VN's in general. Since Kud was the first route I ever got, had so many feels moment when reading it and some parts were just too much >.<

I've never written a fanfic before and I feel like this is too long and embarassing /hidesself...

I started watching anime around grade 7-8 though I first started with english dubbed (use to watch the anime on tv before I discovered the interwebs). Once I started listening to japanese seiyuu, I couldn't go back to english voices. I feel like the japanese seiyuu's put in more effort into their roles and have more energy and you can hear it in their characters they play. Onto VN's, only having played a few series, I think they do a good job and personally, I think their voices enhances the overall experience, even if some of the characters voices may sound "annoying" or "bad". I feel like 50% of the character comes from the voice alone. When I played Katawa Shoujo, I felt like my experience would have been better if it was voiced (I'm not saying it is a bad thing, I enjoyed it overall regardless). I'm too used to voice actoring from anime that I kind of need it in VN's as well... Though I would imagine what kind of voice would suit the character if the game wasn't voiced just like Katawa.

I noticed that mangagamer is having a holiday sale (thanks for the info on facebook btw!) and I want to buy World End Economica but I've never actually paid to play a VN before. Two questions, 1.) Is economica episode 1 a good game and 2.) Is the game translated in english (can't read/understand japanese that well)?. I just buy it and install it onto my computer and play right?? >//<

I usually keep up with most series for every season. I can't decide a favourite among Gundam Build Fighters, Golden Time, Ars Nova or Log Horizon for this season >.<

I'm currently playing the following and their progress: -Little Busters! - Komari's route -G-Senjou no Maou - Finished up to Kanon's route (I want to complete the side routes first before completing true route) -Remember11 - Day 4 (I didn't realize how easy it was to get a bad ending...) -Umineko Chiru - Episode 5. -Da Capo II - Koko's route. -Ef - Chihiro's arc. -Tomoyo After ...I'm slow but I like to take my time and also, Umineko is my priority :3

Hi, my name is Cloudy and I'm from Canada /waves. I hope you'll welcome this VN noob /O\. I was hestiant if I wanted to introduce myself at first because I'm more of a lurker than a contributor but I decided I may as well. I'm more of an anime person than a VN person (My MAL and vndb are under the same username). I only started playing visual novels this year (March-Aprilish). I've always wanted to play VN's for a few years now but it wasn't until I found out how I can access them and a push from my friend that I actually sat down and started to play. My first visual novel is Little Busters! (still haven't finished it btw D:). I'm very slow at games and since then I've only completed <5 VN's and currently playing idk how many (I'm the type of person who likes to start many at once before completing one because I don't want to finish them and miss them afterwards). My top favourites so far are Little Busters! (this will have a spot in my heart), G-Senjou no Maou, and Umineko (currently playing Chiru). Ef and Da Capo II are up there as well. Since this is a VN forum, I was wondering what VN would you recommend I play? I'm currently playing through VN's that I've already seen the anime of (i.e LB!, Clannad, Ef, etc.) but I want to branch out to other series as well, series that never got an adaptation yet. I already read the top 50 list someone made on fuwanovel and have a to-play list on vndb but I don't know where to start. Any recommendations would be nice, thank you~ I'll try to input my thoughts on the forum as much as I can, most unlikely but anyways, yoroshiku onegaishimasu! >.< (I notice that I also like to type alot so I apologize for the long introduction D:)
