Reading Hoshimemo for the second time. At first I feared the effect the true route had on me would be greatly diminished, but, thankfully, those feels are still there, perhaps stronger than before now that I start to comprehend the story better and process my reaction toward the story. In fact, just a while ago I had a fridge realization about the true route bad end (2009/3/4) that helped strengthen my experience. I hope this holds true for the rest of the routes.

I've been replaying the VN in question since a couple of days ago, mostly on the Spica route. During that time, I've repeatedly tried to pin down the VN's definition of a nightmare, but couldn't find a single definitive passage or infodump confirming or denying likely conclusions drawn a priori, given the information presented. The questions I present are thus: If any of the above are explained in Eternal Heart, please present the most general and non-spoiling answers you can give. If that proves to be untenable, don't worry too much. The only route I'm concerned with spoilers is Spica, but that's for another topic concerning some spoilers in that route. Cheers!

I am currently writing a densely-written extension of the Hoshizora no Memoria canon, as preparation for exploring the idea of "cathartic release" as it relates to the "nightmares" in the series. Sometimes navigating the many outcomes and implications of the concepts and rules I have defined or extended can seem overwhelming at times, as I find myself discovering new contradictions and potential plotholes quite often. Nevertheless, I feel a constant inertia pushing me onward to at least get a rough outline ready for review. Anyone interested can either talk on #fuwanovel or through PM. Currently missing vital Eternal Heart canon to verify or disprove my current incomplete outline.

Hello. Sorry for not properly introducing myself earler. I registered as K450, but call me anything you like. I discovered this community in the search for visual novels, and when I happened upon this site, I instantly knew I'd found my go-to place. This is the first time I've ever made the effort to say a first hello in YEARS, and I hope to make some good friends here. Anyway, here's what I've read so far: Katawa Shoujo Hoshizora no Memoria Rewrite Narcissu (Insani) Grisaia no Kajitsu Any VN with a dramatic story that's similar to the ones above, I most likely will enjoy. I gain the most satisfaction from watching bad endings, and moreso when laid in contrast to the good endings. It just feels more cathartic that way. Oh, and about my avatar: that is a special piano I have been waiting eagerly to be finished sometime late this year or the start of next year. Hope to talk more soon!
