I figured I'd make a little guide on how to get Baldr Sky to run since a lot of people seem to have trouble with it. It took me a lot of time to dig up everything I had to do to get it working, so I thought I'd organize everything to hopefully make it a little bit more accessible! 1. Get a copy of Baldr Sky! None of my business how mine is pirated so I'm doing this tutorial based on that 2. Download SmartSteamEmu 1.4.3 here 3. Once downloaded, extract into the main folder of Baldr Sky 4. While here, make sure you have DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 downloaded as well. In my copy they're in the _CommonRedist folder! 5. Rename BaldrSky.cdx -> BaldrSky.exe 6. Run SSELauncher.exe and drag and drop StartUpTool.exe onto it 7. Using SSE run StartUpTool.exe and make sure you have the game set to windowed with the image cache size at 128 MB. 8. Finally, launch Baldr Sky!!~ I hope this helps! Have fun~
