  1. Definitely the one problem I have with AkabeiSoft 2's games, they all use this format. Otherwise they are great vn's.
  2. The epilogue of G-Senjou no Maou. Totally guessed what was coming, didn't keep me from breaking down and crying tears of joy. Somehow I knew Usami would pull through and deliver the ending I was hoping for.
  3. 1. Learn karade. 2. Actually get a decent job. 3. Make more art. 4. Attempt to actually realize there are interesting people around me and that I should take some time out of my day to speak to them.
  4. Just started Cross Channel, the MC has problems but he also has a great sense of humor. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes. Perpetually stuck on a replay of Rin's route in Katawa Shoujo. Not ready to witness her breakdown again.
  5. Should be arriving at my house in February 2014. Only problem is I won't live here then, so it will take longer to get to me. But by that time I should have a stable enough income to warrant the purchase of things such as figures and vn's. Right now I only own one figure and I can't seem to find it, nor do I know who it is a figure of. I won it in a contest a while ago.
  6. I understand the sentiment. I never really take pride in my art either, but I think that is why I continue to make art. The need to prove to myself that I can make something I'am proud of keeps me making art. I think art in general is an expression of oneself, whether that art be pottery, theater, or a jazz band playing a show in a bar. In that sense I think it's a great tool to "discover yourself", whether or not that is considered an identity crisis is beyond me. I don't understand other people very well most of the time and have a hard time connecting with those people, which was what the main conflict was for Rin's route was, and that is something I relate to.
  7. Sorry, Found out I'am going somewhere else this year so I won't be able to do it. If all goes right I may move to a city in Alberta, Canada next year, so I would defiantly be able to attempt it then. Edit: Just asked a friend about the process, I don't have the tools at this time. I Will be ready to do this next year!
  8. For a while I had the same sentiment, but by the end I realized her route was more about her finding her identity in the world. All in all, the problems she goes through are things that a lot of "artists" go through. I believe it's why the term artist's muse came about, creativity is great but once someone makes something people like, it gets harder and harder to please people. The "muse" is honestly a way in which an artist relieves stress and the like. I put artists in quotations because I don't really define art as one specific thing. Honestly this sort of thing is why I like this game, and vn's in general. I think the routes in this particular game are good because every character is flawed, and the creators push their flaws to the forefront. I don't mean the obvious flaws, but rather the flaws that everyone has but nobody wants to admit. To use the example from before, Lilly's route is more about Hisao's heart condition on the surface. True, but I noticed through out that route Lilly went from seeming almost as if she had no problems in the world to finally revealing she was just as flawed a person as Hisao.
  9. Rin=Art, Art=Win. Seriously though, I like Rin's route. I can somewhat relate to it in a wierd sort of way.
  10. Doesn't count as tradition...yet, but this year i'am going to attempt to carve something out of ice. Other than that it's about the same as everyone else.
  11. This is a sketch of a girl from the annual zombie walk in Lawrence, Kansas. I was trying to decide on a way to make the skin on her cheek look like it's rotting away. The sketch isn't the finished work, i'am working on coloring the finished work as we speak.
  12. This. This is exactly what I was going to suggest, my hat is off to you.
  13. A lot of great movies have already been named, so i'll go with one that hasn't been named. Jin-Roh
  14. I guess I'll just go for it. This fanfic is about everyone's favorite loli, and everyone's favorite loli collector.
  15. Is it ok if mine is EXTREMELY violent?
  16. I love the way Shaft uses art styles that defy adjectives to describe them.

  18. Since it's about the only current show I've seen, 4 points to Mako Makanshoku
  19. If I had that kind of money at the time I probably would, but I usually don't.

  23. Here's some examples of my artwork, if it seems like i would be useful i'm all for it. https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/2895-mellowmadman11s-art/
  24. It was made in an art class my senior year of high school. We were given an assignment to make an abstract painting of an animal. The idea in my head when I started it was just to put random shapes on a piece of paper and see where that led me. I happened to be listening to the song rooster by Alice in Chains when I started it. I guess that Influenced me to make a rooster. I usually prefer minimalism in my art, so I made sure the rooster was simple and didn't look too busy. I was really surprised it came out so well. My class was an advanced art class that I got into only because the teacher knew me through the other art teacher who taught pottery. Everyone else in the class was brilliant when it came to 2d art, which made me and my friend Matt stick out as the least technically skilled. Every time an assignment came up we would challenge each other to see who's project was the best, and sadly a lot of the time ours were terrible compared to the other students. We also had a tendency to steal the others idea before he could do anything with it.
