From the looks of it they're using scrolling textures, a lot. Apart from that multiple framebuffers and rendering (those) to textures. Post processing shaders and they really like layering textures. These are pretty common techniques used to make something absolutely awesome. http://open.gl/has some great tutorials on OpenGL and reading them will allow you to understand better how everything works.

If you thought Moenovel's shit translation was beautiful, just wait until we are done with an actual translation! There are some people working on the Snowpresents fandisc translation, but I think that has been stalled for a while. We might work on the sweet love append disc, but no concrete plans have been made yet. Also did you play the censored Steam/Moenovel version? Or did you use the uncensoring patch?

Can't you just make a ton of savegames? I do this for stuff I can't find walkthroughs for.

I just want to say, do NOT download the K-Lite codec pack, it's glorified adware at best. CCCP should work, besides if it's the codecs, it should only crash during a video. Which game are using? Moenovel's version? Steam version? JP version?
