Okay, listened, and yes, there's a quick 1-liner that's different between characters at around 2:55. I don't understand Japanese, but Honoka says "Arigatou", I think Umi says "Doing well?", and Nico's phrase sounds familiar, but not 100% sure (good bye/cya later?), dunno about anyone else. I think Eli says something about the future (I think I heard Mirai) Also, Kotori sounds amazing in this song. Oh, and here, have an awesome picture of the day, with a speciall sectioned off/backgroundless version too.

Sadly, the Red and White trailers were the only thing I liked about the series, once it started airing, I couldn't care less

I can't wait for it to be over, grinding hards is boring, and I'm getting tired of this stress knowing I need to rank high, in the past, it was always just every other event, but playing like I did for Rin and then having another top 200 after is daunting. Oh, I'll have to go listen later. The only songs I know get parts that sound different are Korekara and Kaguya (like I said, also, I said earlier, Eli's doesn't have the "HA!"), and Natsuiro where Honoka's version has a different guitar solo than everyone else and the main song. Dunno about any others.

Season 2 is even better, and Rin is life.

Just going off Google's "define feature", it says animation from Japan, going off Wikipedia, it says the same thing, but specifically mentions what you said above (so use it as you will, if you're not Japanese, it's Japanese animation only, if you're Japanese, you're free to call it anime) Sorry that more than 90% of people here aren't living in Japan, considering if they were, they wouldn't really need an English translation to read visual novels. *Sorry for coming off rude, I just hate the argument that anime can refer to non-Japanese animation*

Ha, I was referencing a post I made a while back (July 20th, my large post comparing Rin and Honoka) and I found something I've thought about time and time again randomly whenever I listen to Korekara (my mind is weird and will remember random things like this). I guess it just bothered me I never gave an answer. So, the "special line" in Korekara isn't special. I dunno if you ever listened to the full song, you probably already know this answer, but the line you hear that's "different" from others is actually in the song, but you can't pick it out because all 9 characters are having their own line playing at the same time. Meaning, because it is a solo, all the other 8 characters' lines being played at the same time are being cut out, leaving the solo, making it understandable. Damn, that post was way back on page 105 xD There's also a special thing with Kaguya no Shiro that's similar. In the full member version of the song, each character gets their own lines throughout the song, and some end with signature stuff, like Nico's first line ends with "NICO", Rin's ends with "NYA", and Kotori's with "ONOGAI!" but if you listen to the solo, say Rin's, she won't do the "NICO" but she'll do the "NYA", and in Nico's solo, she'll do the "NICO" and not the "NYA".

It's animation from Machinima (sp) and isn't considered anime since it doesn't originate from Japan.

I thought about the yuri stuff in related to animation. The anime loves hints (they know people know). Random scenes came to mind, why the hell were Nico and Maki out together at night (the only two not in their homes) in episode 1 of S2. And the fact that they were pretty much strangers just months before, with Nico being the main member Maki interacts with in the anime. And then you have practically a confession from Hanayo that she wants to hold Rin. Unless it's different with girls, I don't see someone exclaiming that they want to hold you then blush uncontrollably when they realised they said it out loud and not have it mean anything xD Yeah, the studio is a tease. So, my friend posted in here about the movie kinda got ignored, but it just makes me think, what could Hanayo's emergency be about? She only gets flustered over idol stuff, but it can't be a Love Live, because Eli, Nico, and Nozomi can't participate, since the Love Live is specifically school idols, and well, they graduate at the end of the 2nd season (that's obvious enough to not warrant a spoiler tag, right?)

For some reason, the only arcs I liked in Index (only watched S1 btw) were the ones that are related to the Espers, and not the magicians (so the Sisters' arc and that small one with Last Order). Which is probably why I don't care about Index, absolutely love Railgun (SoL aspects help it as well), and the Sisters' Arc is one of my favorite arcs in all of anime. Btw, you said you finished it in Toaru Majutsu no Index, did you mean Railgun, or did you go back and watch it after?

In the last couple hours? No. I'm assuming a 10k spike in the last few hours, but a 25+ increase in the final day. The more I look at the top 100 being only 37k right now, the more farfetched a final cutoff of 70k sounds, because a 25k increase itself in one day is beyond ridiculous, since 25k is like 20 gems for Rank <100 people I think. So maybe a 60k cutoff? Because I also forgot to factor in, in every single recent event, the EN 200 cutoff was higher than JP's T1 cutoff, but our 1000 cutoff is lower than their T2 cutoff, their T2 was 68k, so push ours closer to 65, plus EN spends less in general

That's a bit of event points, going to have to earn ~20k. I would say yes, but I have absolutely no idea on that, best bet if you do that, play normally until that last night and if you see yourself dropping very fast (like 700th with ~3-4 hours left) I say grind a bit more. I haven't watched the cutoffs whatsoever, so I don't know how fast they rise, nor do I have any idea how fast they will rise in the final few hours or even the last day. Just noticed it ends on a Wednesday, that sucks, my morning classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays...

I was pretty much joking. I can tell you though, I was really tired going into my class on the first day of this Maki event. Had to wake up at like 4:30 AM to spend JP LP before starting, then grinded all the way until I had to leave for class, so I had like 4 hours of sleep. Even during the Rin event I didn't sacrifice sleep for grinding (I just did long spans on random days) I'd say get as far ahead as you can today while you don't have class, and catch up at night with the rankings if that's needed. This is Maki we're talking about, you shouldn't say "I'm tired of grinding", think of your Nico's beloved!

By saying "fuck sleep" and grinding over night. Seriously, you'd have to play over night at least once for the final hours of the event.

No no, he meant add SIF as an entry on VNDB, so us discussing it is related to the forum, because then it would be considered a VN. Got my images and music videos of Love Live on my phone, now I can watch them whenever, and post a picture whenever!

I'm expecting at lowest, a 95k cutoff, at highest, a 110k. We'll see when that final day comes. I don't know your level and rank, but it might take at least 20 gems for top 1000 because of how many Maki fans there are. So, I have a problem on the JP version... I have 54 gems, but the next UR Rin or Hanayo isn't got a LONG time, since they both were just released in the last month. What do I do? I think the next event is a Rin, but I've never tried in a JP event before, should I make this my first T1 JP event? After I draw 10 more honor students, and go up 5 more ranks (easy), I get a SR/UR single draw, which is why I am so conflicted.

For some reason it doesn't effect me at all, even if it were the same song for hours straight (like I spammed Daily+event only during Rin for 5+ hour runs multiple days). The initial top people, COCOisBEST, Lorelei, and Cryza grinded for 24hrs straight (COCOisBEST did it all on stream),on the first day. Random thing, the more I listen to Kaguya no Shiro (which is A LOT outside the game), the more I Love it, love the beat, the vocal swaps, just everything about it. Every time either the Rin solo or the full group version comes up in my playlist, I always look forward to the "NYA" at the end of Rin's first line.

Scrolling through the leaderboards, noticed you're pretty close to Maki~Chan and I, about 30 places away, and pretty impressive, there are 4 of us in the top 200 right now (unless I don't know someone's IGN and missed them)
