If you know someone who has VMware workstation you can use VMPlayer it's free. I think I'll write a guide for VirtualBox since it's free. I think I'll do a separate topic so it can be pinned.

Hi, I didn't see any topic that said it's possible. I don't usually change my locale settings to play VNs. Usually since this is not a perfect solution but works a lot better then applocale (for now only 2 VNs didn't work like I wanted but they worked). The trick is to use a virtual machine (vm) installed on your system. Mostly VNs don't require a lot from the machine so it's possible to run a vm on low specs. For most VNs a machine with 1GB ram is ok. If anyone would be interested on how to do it just reply here and I'll write a guide.

Still happening from time to time for me. I confirmed that it's an issue with chrome. It doesn't happen on beta so it'll be fixed in the new release ;>

The issue is on the newest Chrome. It wasn't like this on 32.0.1700.102 m When I updated to 32.0.1700.107 m it started to happen. I don't think it's a problem with the page but with chrome. Will check later on the dev channel.

I don't have and account on vndb since it would be a big pain to register and update the information but if a VN was translated to english and it has a story than I probably played it.
