I will watch this one day. It's just that right now I'm in the middle of doing a bunch of other stuff with my free time atm. -
I think a lot of this "fake news" business started when the Fairness Doctrine was abolished by the FCC and attempts to renew it were vetoed by Ronald Reagan. Unfortunately, everything that supporters of the doctrine claimed would happen have in fact come to pass, and now Americans are effectively divided because of what's being put out on the news. That's where I have a beef with our education system. The impression that I got while I was attending k-12 was that American schools are outdated in how they teach students. Until I started participating in discussions online, my critical thinking skills were never very sharp, and they still aren't as good as I'd like them to be. For my research paper, I used an article from The Atlantic to explain how schools are still only there to meet the needs of an industrialized America. As it stands right now, America does not need a workforce that is capable of handling simple tasks effectively -- it needs a more creative embrace to teaching students how to think outside the box -- but that's how schools are still operating. Not only is this system making it difficult for average citizens to get by with a healthy career, but it's also affecting peoples' judgment in making rational decisions regarding how their government operates. Another disadvantage is that certain news channels are regularly misleading and deceptive because of their freedom to tell just one side of the story, which essentially forces people to do research they don't want to or are unable to conduct. It's a royal mess when you think about it. In a way, I think American stupidity is justified. There are far too many flaws in how our government operates, and I think most issues can be traced back to dark money.

Proving once again to be a complete impossibility, the translation for Dies Irae has been canceled. -

Kenshin_sama replied to ittaku's topic in Anime/Manga Recommendations
That's not particularly unusual. There are many intelligent high school students out there, it's just they're only ever recognized by employers and college admission officers. My apologies though. I knew it had a very depressing outcome, but I thought the complexity of the characters would have been enough to carry your enjoyment. That seems to be far from the case this time. I did miss the part of your post where recommendations were suppose to have a happy ending, so that was complete negligence on my part. I suppose it would feel like I was understating the level of frustration one can feel towards the ending. I really didn't think it was that big of deal (at least not to me), but my brain tends to lean a little bit more toward the logical side than the emotional one, so my interest in the characters greatly exceeded my disappointment in the turnout. I don't think I met anyone who expressed much frustration with the ending either (might be because I didn't look hard enough). I'm not trying to justify my views over yours or anything like that, just explaining how I perceived it and the reason behind my choice of wording. I will try to be more careful next time. Oh and you might actually want to avoid Kokoro Connect. I don't have the faintest recollection of how it ended, so my guess is that it was probably incomplete. KC is more lighthearted than WA2, but still contains some not-so-insignificant drama. The romance may or may not make it worth watching. I'd recommend either waiting until you can stomach another tearjerker or just not watch it at all. -
Damn, I did the exact same thing when I tried to quit gaming. It's easy to fall into the thinking trap that browsing the web is less time-consuming than playing games.

"In what kind of recovery does the DBMS use the log to undo any changes made to a database during a certain period?" Confession: Got this as a question for my exam review with one of my computer courses. Could not call myself a member of Fuwanovel if I didn't know the answer to this, lol.
