  1. Apparently compatibility mode is already on by default and cannot be turned off, and it would seem my antivirus(Avast) is not even running right now...(Even though I'm absolutely sure it was running before I reset the PC, which was when I set the non unicode to Japanese) So I guess it's a system file being corrupted?
  2. I did mount it with Daemon and tried to install through both the autorun and the SETUP.exe, but even after I wait for a bit, there is no installation screen (I tried running as admin too)
  3. Ok, since I already had the game disk, I tried to install it by using autorun, but since it didn't work, I copied the files that were in the disk and moved the to a folder on the Desktop, and installed the patch there, but I still got the "File not found. autoexec.scn" error.
  4. Install the game again? Isn't the one here on Fuwanovel already installed?
  5. Recently I've had to re-install Windows 7 because my HDD broke, and there were no problems, until recently. I've recently finished playing Yumina the Ethereal, with no problems, but when I downloaded the recently translated "Ayakashibito", some problems started popping up. I've looked up some info on issues other players had with the game, and none of them helped. I was having the Registry error, and upon searching around for the solution, noticed that I forgot to set my non-unicode to Japanese, and when I restarted Windows, some problems(which I assume are being caused by pathing errors or something) started ocurring. When I tried to play the game, I got an error that said "File not found: autoexec.scn". I found no solution for this problem, so I decided to download the game on another website, and the game worked without the English patch, but when I installed the patch the same error happened. At first I tought it was a problem with the game itself, but other errors with different programs started happening, for example with WinRar, and with Windows itself. While trying to solve the problem, Windows gave me the following error: "Specified path was not found". In the end, I tried setting my non-unicode back to default, and everything was working fine( Except for Ayakashibito, of course). Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? (Sorry if my English is bad, not native ) Are you running your computer with Japan system locale? (link to instructions): Yes and No (The problem) Game Name: Ayakashibito Description of Problem: Not finding certain files Your Operating System: Windows 7 Home basic 64 or 32 bit (link to how to find): 64 bit What did you already try? Redownloading, running as admin, downloading the game from another website Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Yes
