Recently I've had to re-install Windows 7 because my HDD broke, and there were no problems, until recently.
I've recently finished playing Yumina the Ethereal, with no problems, but when I downloaded the recently translated "Ayakashibito", some problems started popping up. I've looked up some info on issues other players had with the game, and none of them helped. I was having the Registry error, and upon searching around for the solution, noticed that I forgot to set my non-unicode to Japanese, and when I restarted Windows, some problems(which I assume are being caused by pathing errors or something) started ocurring.
When I tried to play the game, I got an error that said "File not found: autoexec.scn". I found no solution for this problem, so I decided to download the game on another website, and the game worked without the English patch, but when I installed the patch the same error happened. At first I tought it was a problem with the game itself, but other errors with different programs started happening, for example with WinRar, and with Windows itself. While trying to solve the problem, Windows gave me the following error: "Specified path was not found". In the end, I tried setting my non-unicode back to default, and everything was working fine( Except for Ayakashibito, of course). Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? (Sorry if my English is bad, not native )
